I wish i could use HPS for flowering, I know the autos are not photosensitive. they look like indica to me too. I am on the fence about if i should reduce the light or not, They arent a month old yet so im sticking with 18/6 another week which will make four weeks old. I'm thinking of keeping that schedule for up to 6 weeks to see if they auto. then if not ill change the bulbs and flower 12/12.

Heh stoner memory, i wish i had kept the email.. hmm maybe nirvana will remember my order. ill have to check and see if they can tell me wether they are autos or not.

Right on man, I figured you knew what you were doing. It just struck me as kinda weird when you said "autos" and that you were switching to flower in a week.

I run a dwc setup in a 4g res. I used 4 five inch net baskets.
I added two black air lines connected to a 60 gallon air pump dual output.
The light is three 42 watt cfl's on a timer running 18/6

Its a sterilite two shelf cabinet. Inside is covered in IR blocking material for reflection.

The temps hover around 88. I never did figure out how to cool the damn thing. I want to upgrade to a four shelf cabinet which would solve alot of problems. I think its just because its such a small space and the bulbs are huge.

My temps are averaging in the low 80's with humidity in he low 30's. Plant doesnt seem to mind it so I am not worried about that. if they were any higher I was thinking of adding a passive intake to bring in some more fresh cooler air, but havent had to deal with that yet. After this grow and I have moved on to growing three plants and I have added more lighting temperature may become an issue but I will deal with that when the time comes. I will most likely run the cabinet empty first with all of the lights running and see what my maximum temp will be. Then if its not acceptable, I will fix it.

I live in a state that gets hot in the summer, ambient temp indoors is usually 78-80 degrees so its 8 degrees above ambient which is quite good. There is only so much i can do with an un-airconditioned space in the summer. I have my exhaust on lock, the 6 inch in line fan moves air quite nice. and as long as the closet door is closed we cant hear it so its stealth.

Hey gang,

thanks for sticking i t out, the wait was hell but i have two nice indica plants. they are definitely the same, one is just shorter than the other. You will notice a slight yellowing, which went away after i fed them. They have been growing quite well and i am letting them go another week before i flower them.

It got down to like 10-12F last night CD :P but this does help me control my room temp 100% since I have to use space heaters... Need to get a humidifier though to get the humidity up over 30%...

Gotta love Illinois haha..

I was told by the caregiver that the plants have doubled in size since i've seen them a week ago come friday. They seem to be true indicas as he said they are fat plants. Naturally that is sweet to hear as its a trait of Indicas. I will certainly update you guyz with pics friday or saturday.
