What’s up my growing peeps!

I’d like to introduce a little COVID grow Project I’ve had on the grow for a couple months now.
From the beginning..........
I just finished 4 fastbuds Girl Scout cookie autos and wanted to get on some regulars so I sourced out some interesting strains from a long time breeder Jordan of the island. I wanted another cookie strain so theirs looked appetizing! So off I went to pop seeds grow then clone then flip the clones 12/12 and see who’s who.
Out of 9 seeds, only two were female. Then I cloned those got rid of a few and kept two to veg.

Now here we are. 2 weeks into flower, really the most exciting time to begin a journal.
I want to keep track of this grow myself so why not let you watch along!

Here’s my grow particulars......
Light - 1 green sunshine company es 180
1 hlg 100 v2 3500

Soil - pro mix HP with mycho
Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4
Dolomitic lime
Great white shark mycho
Kootenay bio soils compost

Room is 3.5 x3.5x6
Positive pressure with heater
Temp 26-29
Rh is 40

Nice one mate, sucks about the male I've had it happen a couple of times now luck of the draw. there looking like they need a feed and some mag. That should get you plants an even shade of green. Good luck killing it

I’ve seen these grow for a couple months now and they show very light green on new growth. Gradually getting darker as the leaf ages. I don’t know about the mag?what do you see?

Decided to feed today at the 3 week mark from transplant from 2g container to the final 5g fabric pots.

Fed 1/4 cup 4-4-4 and 1/4 2-8-4 Gaia Green scratched into the soil and watered. Keeping the 50/50 ratio to try to keep up the nitrogen as these guys look like they are still using a lot of this.

Next watering will be in 3 days with brewed compost tea. Keeping the soil ALIVE!

Checking in for the first time, I'm really interested in this, I've got some of JOTI's Black Cookies seeds waiting to be popped! I really like the description on their website, "Black Cookies is mostly indica with a spacey, stoney, time altering effect."

I'm actually waiting for things to get a bit cooler before starting my next indoor grow. I battled fungus gnats towards the end of my last grow, I want to start my next one once they're all gone and have little chance of returning.

Cheers man, best of luck with the grow!

Sunday day 20 update......
The two girls have continued to stretch and stretch they have! Hard to keep the mains in check. There’s no where for them to go anymore other than up.
Front half of the room is the black cookie. Back half is black lavender. Leaf profile is a bit different and the cookie is very purple on the stems. Both have very similar growth patterns keeping the room balanced

Colour across the canopy is looking better after a good feed and a tea. Also trying to keep humidity up. It’s so dry, about 30 outside. I’m misting the tent walls and floor to keep a 40.
Many many budsites forming. A huge abundance of beautiful thick white pistils blanket every stock. So far so Good!

The weekly report......day 26 of flower.

All Ive done this week is water 1 g per plant every 3 days for the cookie and 4 days for the lavender. I water when the pots are light, no fussing with ph and just use an RV inline water filter to get rid of the chlorine and Chloramine in out local water. It’s also pretty hard at 228ppm.

I break up the solid top layer before every water to help better absorb the water.
Using the dry amendments on top of the soil will cement up if you aren’t breaking it and the water will just run out the fabric pots.

Girls are looking really good. Preflower has taken off and trichome production has begun with frosty coatings on the leaves.
The stretch has hopefully finished but has at least slowed to a crawl. The tops really took off as you can see. I’ve tried to tie them best I could but ran out of room on the sides.

Next week we will compost tea and do a 25/75 top dress with the Gaia Green

It’s been two weeks since the last report. Here we are at day 34......
Last week girls got their last feeding. Went with 1/4 cup of Gaia bloom and 2 tbsp of the all purpose with a 1/4 tsp of kelzyme and watered with 1 gallon of tap.
I’ve noticed a bit of advanced yellowing on the cookie after this. But the lavender seemed to be ok.
I will admit I have left the cookie to dry out twice as it is a water hog! It drinks 1 gallon of water in 2 days. The lavender is every 4. So I caused the plant to suck from the bigger fan leaves. So I think I’ll blame the under watering for this.
Otherwise the plants are coming along nicely. Frosting up really good and buds swelling.
Smell is sweet like candy. Not overly skunky at all. Really a good strain if smell is an issue.
Here are the pics.....

This room is finishing up fast. The girls are showing their fall colours. Buds are maturing nicely and are covered in rich milky trichs. The lavender is covered with fiery orange hairs and the cookie is turning colour but a little slower than the lavender
I’m getting excited for harvest!
The cookie is still chugging 1 gallon every 2 days mixed with cane sugar and kelp meal. The lavender is 1g ever 4 days. I’ve also lowered the temps down to 25 to aid in the finish. I don’t want foxtails or nanners.

Happy Halloween!

Girls are coming down tomorrow. Lavender has purpled up nicely and the cookie had a last push and filled up just in time. This is the end of week 8
