Problem with the dvd is though that you have no idea what the content is on that DVD it could be full of really great info, but it may not relate to your grow. What I would recommend if you want to buy something, pop down the local hydro store and have a look through the books they have there, you might find something that has all the answer to your questions. The dvd will probably show you how to set up a proffesional grow room at a cost of 1000s and then how to grow 100s of plants. The best teacher is definately experience.

I would much rather have a reference book that I can look at then an dvd. There are times in a grow room when you need answers right now and don't have time to boot up a computer.

Why not just watch all the free videos on google, youtube, and other realed sites? They are all free and will at least get you started in the right direction. Then between those free vids. and this web site you'll be a pro in no time.

I agree with everyone. I love books and they can be more detailed. But there's a big difference between a flat photograph and a video tape that can show an image from 3 dimensions.

My advice is to use what works for you. If you dig books, go get some books. They cost a few bucks. If you dig video, go watch some videos. But be careful covering your tracks if you have family members who will bust your balls.

Hide the books, scrub your browser history, etc.

ive watched tons-o-vidoes on growing and read alil to boot. i find its very handy to have both, but i agree with 420penguin work with what works for you. but more to your question about the JORGE CERVANTES' ULTIMATE GROW DVD i thought seemorebuds dvds far and away better. way more hydro info, and alil better explained, tho both are well worth the prices. thats my $0.02 anyway. however you go good luck and welcome

Yes I do believe that Jorge Cervantes DVD is an excellent buy!! I have referenced to it plenty of times. I would say that Jorge Cervantes shows you more on how to harvest, manicure your buds, cure your buds, and how to make hash. He doesn't really get into too much detail about the actual growing as he does everything else. He sort of gets side tracked. Below are some other excellent videos which you can download on almost any P2P program or You Tube/Google video.

Documentary - Stoned Free - Guide To Growing Cannabis: Old School Video, but still informational

Marijuana - I Grow Chronic - Complete Step By Step Hydroponic Setup (THIS GUY IS AWESOME AND GREAT STEP BY STEP HYDROPONIC SETUP)

Ready - Set - Grow (High Times, cannabis growing cultivation) - An excellent step by step guide for any newbies. I learned a lot from this video.

I hope these helped you out. If you are going to watch any first, I would recommend Ready Set Grow, then Jorge Cervantes, then I Grow Chronic, and then Stoned Free. Good Luck!!
