I had a gig a few days ago where I seriously contemplated going unwashed. I woke up and started the day as usual - made coffee, had some cereal, etc.. When I went to take a shower, there was no hot water at all. I waited 15 minutes for the water to get warm, if anything it got colder. Then I saw the email from my landlord about an emergency gas line repair. Fuck. I hadn't showered in two days, and I just worked out the night before. I couldn't stand the smells coming off of me, how could I put a client through that? I called my sister and a local friend praying they were home so I could use their shower, no luck. I thought back to all the summers at public pools, having to shower in cold water (the city ain't paying for hot water) before and after swimming. So I'm proud to say that I just turned on the faucet and showered. For the first 3 minutes, it was a sheer act of will. Then, I kinda became numb to it and finished up. It was unpleasant. I hope I never have to do that again. First world problems...

Keep a box of those on hand for those pesky times! They are shockingly effective for emergency clean ups.
