And this is a larger city. It's not Raleigh or Asheville but it has a major military base. Their is a lot of animosity. The locals don't like outsiders influencing their policies and everybody else want it to be modern America. I feel the hate from both sides like I always do. I'm a white Hispanic from NYC who looks Jewish. Locals hate me for looking and thinking different and the military hate me for being part of town. Hispanics and whites look at me wierd when I speak Spanish.

Jacksonville?

I have found, from moving my whole life (11 different homes, 6 different schools) that differences are always judged by others.

Not everyone does it but when it happens a couple timea to you it can feel like everyone is judging you.

I lived in NC too. Havelock NC. By cherry point base.

The majority of the marines in jacksonville are grunts and infantry support. They ship out all the time and their job sucks. It is the hardest MOS. Mentally and physically.

Im sure we could too. As long as you can refrain from insults when we disagree.

We can disagree and not hate eachother. Plus if we talk in a friendly matter I can see your perspective better and you can see mine better.

I really am a pretty empathetic person.

There is no way to know what a person thinks without asking them though. If you write me off right away then you never really know what kind of a person I am.

I joke when I smoke. Ill call people out, but in a poking and smiling kind of way.

I havent wrote any of you guys off. I'll talk to anyone who isnt being rude.

I have pictures from town of those business I posted about earlier. The ones with all the Dixie flags but no white workers. I just have to remove all the phone numbers and license plates. If I come across anything that doesnt depress or shock me to the point of inaction I'll post it immediately. People don't like their stupidity filmed out in the open.
