it wasnt that the drug was too much for him, its that all psycadelics can bring out any pre exsisting mental problems witch may lay dorment. its good to know if your family suffers a history of mental illness before experementing with any enthogen or drug for that matter. im sorry for your friend thats very unfortunate

yeah im for real what i got is like oranish brown rocks almost looks like discolored crack its alwways way over priced here like 2-300 a g but i got a half g from a friend on the low tried smoking it in a light bulb cuz it burns down kinda like meth but io think it gets too hot that way its REALLY harsh from a liht bulb i couldnt really hanbdle it so i put it on a bowl of chroinic and it covered sopme of the god awful tatse and smell and i was able ot get some good hits but nothing completely life altering or anything
i really dig it though cuz i could take this shit and go somewhere like the woods and trip and be able to drive home in 20 minutes if i wanted to

thats crazy man ive never heard of it around here. yea ive smoked a good amount of meth. we use to put the rock/powder in the glass tube, then we ran a lighter under it and rotated the glass in a circular motion making all the melted meth cover a full 360 degree circle, and that shit looked nuts when you did that all crystals, looked like ice. then you just light it and inhale slowly, but to be honest i dont miss that shit anymore. i would like to try out dmt though.

we use to get this shit everyone just called "the water" out here...shit would go for 20 bucks a shot glass full.....first time i did it all i tried was 1 shot...and i was trippin for probally a good 8 hours....so were all my buds....we still don't know what that shit was though.....some said it was mescaline....some said it was Peyote water......beats me......
another time my buddy gave this dude who was sellin that shit a ride home.....and dude left a whole big water bottle full of that shit in his truck....and he kept it cause dude was a prick....didn't even give him gas money...ha....so yeah we ended up drinking the shit outta that stuff...i had like 3 double shots of it.....was fucked up searously for like i'd say 18 hours....crazy tripping like i dunno i never tried acid but i picture thats what it was like.....like i was lookin at my arm at times and there was like a million spiders and warms crawling all over it....kinda looked like a kolida-scope efect and shit......i was seeing bombs dropping and hearing like vietnam war sounds and shit...lmao no joke was just crazy shit......clouds were all shaped like airplanes and shrooms and all kinds of shit..... good stuff i highly recomend it.....i never freaked out once on the stuff and i've tripped on it like 3 or 4 times...all great trips.....

After researching for about an hour.. I've found an easy and fairly simple diy to extracting DMT. Here is a whole discussion on the diy:

You'll want to find somewhere online or somewhere else where you can buy mimosa hostilis root bark. I found this website:
$14 Mimosa Hostilis Bark. Sold for indentification only
The diy calls for a a pound of root bark but it could be done with less if you change all the other quantities. A half pound off of this site would cost you about $90 but there are selling a kilo (2.2 lbs) for $140. It is the cheapest price I could find and the site looks credible but I'd send them an email first.
And you'll also need NaOH sodium hydroxide and vm&p naphtha. You can find the 1st online under the nickname "red devil lye". And you can find the second in ace hardware stores or other places that sell coleman camping fuel. Other than some basic cooking supplies.. that seems to be all you need. I may, hypothetically, do this hmmm.
edit: This is supposed to produce about 2-2.5 grams of DMT. I looked around to see what street prices for DMT would be and people sell grams of extracted DMT for $300..

i also found this extraction method which is less specific and simpler but not as well known.
