OK Im stoned an confused. bongsmilieand that is never a good combination.:dunce:
Is there something simple I am missing about posting large pics? I followed Kittys instructions but I still get the link above instead of an actual photo in the post. Sincerely appreciate anyone that can help.

Uploaded pics section? Once again I apologize if im missing something totally easy, I am a noob afterall.
This is what happens when I upload a pic...

I click on the Picture Icon

It asks me f I want to load it from my computer or from a URL
I choose COmputer
I find the file and select it then one of two things happens
1) in advanced mode it takes me to another screen and i click upload photo to begin.
At no time does it allow me to righ click and save any URL
2) In basic mode I find the file and select it and there is a button I can vclick to immediately begin.

In both cases once the picture is done uploading it appears in the text box and I can move it anywhere i want to.
Idf I right click on it I only have the choice to copy and if I do I copy the picture and not any kind of URL

Am I totally looking in the wrong place for this?

The only time I see a URL link is for photos I have previously uloaded in previous posts that appear in the thread below my current post. I can copy those URLS but when I try to paste them into my current post it comes out as in the examples above...written out and not a large photo.

Sorry to be annoying if this is totally simple but itll really help if I can figure this out soon. thanks all!!

is this what you are trying to do man upload a pic and display it on the post if so just go to the pic you want on the web and right click on it it should say copy image location then paste in url spot.

BINGO!!!

Thanks bud! I appreciate you explaining that to me.
Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest.

Basically what Iwas missing is that I have to upload them first then go back in and edit then copy the thumbnail URL and then past it into the body of the text. Ok, now on with the thread

Head of one of the smaller plant Colas. Most of the pics i see so far I can see cloudy ones but still have mostly clear trichs. no amber at all yet...

This is a trip. I always though of Trich's as little mushrooms that were made entirely of THC oil. Instead they are more like tubes that extrude a small drop of oil through its opening. You can see that when the plant is brushed against the oil rubs off and the small drops dissapear but the tubes remain.

I am very pleasantly surprised of the level of magnification detail I can get out of my digital camera when I placed a simple 10X eyepiece against the camera lens. I also have a Microscope Lens that is a 50X and some of the pics used that too. But I seem to get better images from eyepiece though...strange.

When you look at the branch structure below it looks like two whole plants
grew out of the main stem half way up. Haven't seen that before but want to more often!

Lotsa cloudiness.

lol no prob man cant wait to see some more i will be in here quite often.
I was right. It was so simple as to totaly confound my senses bongsmilie

The ultra easy solution turned out to be simply upload you image into a thread. then go back in and edit your post. Select the "Pencil" icon that appears when you roll over the photo. An ID tag will open up for you to fill out.

Simply add in some info to the photo description and save. The photo is then full size in the thread :mrgreen:

Thing of Beauty...

Am interested in ur flood boxes. U use sprayers, but your water is not aerated. How often is the sprayer on?(1.5hrs/30min?) What system do you use to change the water on all of your boxes? Do u have drains set up? As your boxes are all changed how often? I just think it must be a bitch to change a shit load of water all the time. (12*27gal=324gal).

Am interested to know the setup. Did u construct everything yourself?

Thanks,
Tricky B. :bigjoint:

I run the sprayers for 1.5 hrs on and 30 min off. this is really on the high end of run times. but it is part of this baseline sysstem to compare with adjustments over time. Ill probably try out a timing in the opposite extreme eventually.

I do NOT change out my reserviors (Unless I have too due to other issues) and I plan on running that way for the entire year. I want to get a lot of comparative grows to evaluate against a system that does change out the res. By then Ill have constructed a central reserviore system and then upgrade each grow zone to operate as one unit instead of 4 seperate res'. Its a little more radical than what I got going now and I am excited about designing it. I have those plans almost finished will post them shortly.

For now I am mixing sauce....adjusting pH and PPMS only, and when its time to change the nutrient levels, I add new nutes on top of old. I know, I know.... Somewhere somebody just gasped!!! :o All in the name of science folks!

And yes. Everything you see in the pics Except the walls was designed and built by me. . I even added a new set of ceiling rafters to the flower room to support the rigging. Original ceiling is too old and leaks.

Also, I totally secured the downstairs and made it into the grow while the upstairs is a seperate dwelling. The house entrance is from upstairs so it works great. The place was in pretty bad shape when I took over. 2 steps away from a crack house ;D. I had to replace the entire veg room floor because the cement was cracked and collapsing. Lotsa Lotsa work.

I am currently building an interior trap door staircase between the top and bottom floors.
Pretty cool. When its done Ill have emergency access to the grow from the 2nd floor.

Kinda like my own personal Rabbit Hole

OOOHHHH GASP>> LMFAO.

I have been reading about perp systems that run on only refill water, but at the same time, I always worried lol. I am very excited to see how it turns out, as I am gonna run the box system, although I'll have a fill and dump pipe like ebb n flo, but actually just to change the water for all 4(,6,8,10... doesn't matter) at the same time. I think it would solve about a million problems of water management, and I hate getting wet lol.

When u say u don't intend to change the water. What is the guideline for OH FUCK I MUST lol? Nute lock and or other havoc?

"I run the sprayers for 1.5 hrs on and 30 min off. this is really on the high end of run times." - What volume are your pumps and nozzles I guess? And your water cooling must be kinda a scary thing as 6 x 1kw are a hot little oven.(this is why I am thinking about LEDs)

And last but not least, thanks for the POS schedule. Looks pretty decent. SOG all the way bro.

I'm sure one day we'll all be stoked to see the progress made from this little experiment.

Lol. I like to mess around on paint when I'm baked lol. Here is a visual of brain picture lol ebb n flow single fill n drain for easy nute changes?

I'm interested to see the 4 run as one system plans though.

So far the only Oh Fuck moment occured because of an out of calibration PPM Meter. I run my nutes pretty hot as it is but my meter was wrong so I had major nute burn. I had to do an emergency res change and mix all over once I figured out that it was the Meter.

Yes I also burnt the hell out of my girls already due to heat levels. Those babys can get hot real quick. I ended up switching my lights off for a while in veg to reduce heat (going to 18hrs instead of 24). For Flower I did also burn my plants too because they grew like crazy in the first week of flower. I left for one day...came back and all the tallest ones were bleached from the light. Sux. But I learned my lesson.

Not sure of the total volume. Im using a 240 gph pump with 3/4" PVC. The nozzles are also bored out.

This is a 4 into1 design so 4 res get fed by one main. Meaning there will still be one reservoire for every zone. this must be done because each stage runs on different nute schedules. But 4 is a lot less to fill than 12...and eventually 18...

The other thing is I will only have 4 pumps instead of 18 with this design.
That is huge in terms of mitigating heat production in the reservoire.
