JJ's Marshydro fce 8000 grow

They're all 'kicked over' and beginning to grow. Double the par level tmrw to around 450-500. Only running them about 250umol/s to get a base of roots and start getting some growth on top
Fed with maxigrow and calimagic at EC 1.0

So since this tents all set up and I have some extra cuts I'm gona run this tent with some organic dry amendments. I might just take a few pics and toss em in this thread along with this run.
Promix hp with Gaia green
45/45 mix 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 and the remaining 10% insect frass. The mix will also contain bokashi pro grow, ewc, and glacial rock dust.
I'll also be using 'fish sh!t' and a rainbow trout fish emulsion, rather than microbial mass like with the fce8000 grow, and of coarse making teas etc. I'll also use black strap to feed the microbes.
A couple of the plants will be the same in both tents so it'll be cool to see how they perform in diff environments. The rest I've ran before but only 1 has been done with this organic method.

So when you convert peat to more like organic soil with dry amendments, do you still get runoff, or do you avoid that?

I usually never run off with promix even with salts. Maybe just once in a while, but def not every feed. With organics watering to runoff is pretty much overwatering imo. I'll be using blumats with just plain water (maybe some Epsom salts)

Oopsies
Cracked it right through. It was hanging by a thread but I quickly pushed it back together and grafting tapes it then bent it the other way so it's kinda acting like a hinge and holding pressure against itself. Already healing up under the tape.

Nice to get a headstart on these while everything finishes up. Just clipping the tip with 6 growing tips underneath it then bend it over and let those growing tips come up a bit then bend them into the location I want them. Then I'll prob prune to 10 tips each plant let them come up for a week then flip. Need to get things moving along quick. Warmer/humid weather will be here by the end of flower.

Real nice light man :weed:
Thanks ya I'm getting excited about setting it up. I'm literally puffing my test bud right now and I'm calling it good. Hopefully start chop this weekend (after some late season ice fishing) clean the pots and the tent out and get the next one going asap. Neat about the bridgelux having a bit more far red than the Samsung's. Either way it's gona be cheaper on my power bill which I like

I think my EZ-8s have bridgelux, and they do radiate a nice bit of heat! Made me more careful of how close i got them to canopy. The plants definetly appreciated the extra heat in a cold enviroment.

Good luck fishing hope you catch a whopper lol.

I hope I get alot of them. Freezers only loaded up with walleye, no perch. :(
I like how I can remove the driver if I need to cut out some heat, as outdoor temps are slowly raising it becomes harder to control temps in the tent and being able to 'remote mount' the driver is cool

Walleye is some of the tastiest fish ive eaten when it was buttered and crisped in a pan… NICE

Yeah the remote driver is cool and really handy with a high watt light like that.

Little bit of training is in order. Plants are growing well. Few more days and clip the new shoots for 2 tips each
