jillybean outdoor finish time.

has anyone grown jillybean outdoors? everything i read says it is done in early september, but i think it could go several more weeks. early to mid november!?

haven't cut mine yet. only about 15% amber after 62 days. i am giving it a few more days. my indoor have gone 70 under CFL's.

Finishing OD is determined by lattitude

at the 43rd paralel its done around oct 20th

My 3 are indoors and 12/12 from seed.
Today is Day 50 Bloom and Day 80 from seed.
At least 15 - 20% ambers already on all 3.
One looks Indica dom and the other 2 are Sativa dom.
Trying to go to Day 56 Bloom, but it looks as if NOW is my harvest time.
Might chop the Indica pheno tonight !

howdy,

i remember reading a post by mz jill where she says it's best to pick jillybean in late september before the rains.

is it susceptible to mold and why the different suggested harvest dates i wonder...

this was last years thread. i think i pulled mine due to weather sometime around the 3rd week of october. although i did not have the candy store pheno. as sub stated last year, your latitude will determine when each individual strain and pheno is done.

here is a couple pics of my organic outdoor jilly this past year. This pic was taken about 5 1/2 weeks due too caterpillars at the end my yield was crap :(
