Jilly Bean Seed Run

i want to do a small seed run and have a few questions.

i plan to make a few crosses but my main cross is jilly bean. i had bad luck with a pack with 8 males and 2 females. i know its the luck of the draw, but i have never had such a bad ratio.

i have 1 jilly bean male and 1 hazeman's blowfish male.

i did not look at all the males with a scope or anything but i will say that they all looked liked clones. close enough that i tossed all 8 and kept 1 rooted clone so i have a male. short and bushy as compared to the 2 females.

the 2 females look exactly alike, grew taller with farther node spaces as compared to the male. went into flower and they stretch so much i had to remove 1 female and place back into veg. also topped it way down.

-what can i expect crossing the jilly bean male and female? and is it worth it? i haven't even tried the jilly bean yet but they smell very good. i really want to keep some of the genetics and can't keep a mother.

-would i be better off crossing the jilly bean with the blowfish instead?

i really only want to use 1 male. i dont think i can keep the pollen seperated with 2 males.

-so should i use the jilly bean male to cross with everything or the blowfish?

i have a couple of reg. females to cross.

-i have a couple of fems to cross using the male. whats your take on this?

Cross them both, fertilize two branches each with different pollen. Make sure you label each so you don't get them mixed up. For personal use this is a good way to get multiple crosses with one sacrificial female plant. Good luck! They might not be true to the parent stock but there will be some goodies that pop up.

MY favorite pheno out of them was a little stretchy compared
to the others, with less leaves. A real strong orange and cream smell.
im smoking on some right now.
I did save some JTR pollen to mess with though.
smoke, did you mean you are going to pollenate
plants that are from fem seeds?
I am going to hit a bubba OG fem with JTR to see what happens in about
4 weeks. And on a chemdawg 4 fem.

I also put some JTR pollen on two different JTR females today.
i have no idea if I'll get more JTR, or what.
but I wanted more seeds.
I wish I had more jilly bean pollen....

Idk what blowfish is but i do know jilly is a hybrid so i probably qouldnt use that male unless hlyou just hit your female jilly with it then you ahould get some good stuff out of the f2 but youll have to be selective because you can end up with a whole lot of garbage from an f2 too lol no one can really say, youll just have to try it out and see what happens, i say use the jilly male on jilly females and just scrap the other male and wait for better stock to breed with in the future like an ibl.

i will use 1 male to hit a few different females of different strains. 1 female will be jilly bean.

so basically i am asking what male would you use and why?

i don't know much about blowfish other than what is says on the site to order them.

I'd use jilly bean male only because I've never heard of
blowfish, and I like the smell of jilly. Has cool parents too.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat?

blowfish is (G13 X Oregon Funk) X (G13 X Blue Dot)

i have never heard of it and have never tried it. all i have is a male.

the jilly bean def. smells better

Oooh oregon funk sounds fun.
Maybe bag up some of that blowfish pollen for later?

Random chucking = random results not saying thats good or bad lol just not desirable for me personally
