jiffy 7 pellets, need help/advice

k so i just got some jiffy 7 pellets, i took 2 clones, been 2.5 weeks still not one bit of root growth. now im starting seeds in them,

my question is, should i keep them in a container that has water in the bottom? i have seen this in pictures, but dont know.

any help is apretiated

Sorry...I just dont like jiffy pellets. I use rapid rooters in a tray that holds water on the bottom and I spray them a few times a day. Works like a charm. I just have had bad luck with the jiffy pucks.

yeah the jiffy pucks will waterlog your plants if you leave them in water, just soak them then put the cuttings in and mist the plants, and if your starting seeds in them make sure they are sprouted first then put them in under a humidity dome till they pop up then put the puck in soil or whatever your going to grow in
