true.. it has not shown signs of coming back to life yet. the rest of the plant is still reach for the light. my friend and I decided that next round with TD and BB we will top or FIM as its benefits are obvious with scrog. For now I'll keep training the main colas of Jekyll and Yumbolt around the outside of the screen and i really dont know what will happen with sour kush but I'm definitely growing it again next round, hopefully error free

Im going to clone one of each I think today and then let the lights go out and make the girls freak out thinking the world is over...and then hit them with the HPS Wednesday morning, 12/12. let the show begin :leaf:

for some reason, the following wouldnt post in the same post as the above...whats going on rollitup tech support?

I kinda wish you guys told me about topping before I got this far.. lol but its all good. I have another round in me I guess ;) about to feed them now, a mix of veg and bloom nutes. yayy. I have been able to train some more of Sour Kush and not break anything else.. lol and that little cheese seedling is just whatver. it sits up in the screen, but sometimes im clumsy and hit the screen and the cup falls. this has happened at least 4 times lol by now the cheese is probably suicidal.

+REP for entering brah! Oh did I just see a third rep bar apear lol. thanks for joining us! Hopefully we can get this thing maxed out before the 1st and have a very exciting competition :)

The girls are looking great and I wouldn't sweat it about topping. "Even though I'm pretty sure I said something early on you just missed it ." Just look at it like you learned another thing to improve your next grow! One of those looks topped, is that just a branchy strain? Looks good taking up that corner!!

Oh another thing, to make your pics bigger its really easy now, just upload them through the picture of a tree icon like you did. "At the top of the reply box if anyone is wondering." Then after the pic loads just simply double click on it and pic a size! Makes it much easier to look at IMO :) Oh and have you been by my thread yet? I'm scrogging aswell, wasn't sure if you checked it out yet if not you should :)
See,

thanks for the rep and advice and sorry if I missed previous advice treez. thanks for the rep and yeah that contest is really going to be awesome. my buddy just got some dankkk medicinal-grade cheese that is currently putting me to sleep, AND! we found 3 seeds in 4 ounces :) so they're in water right now and they will also be in the competition, probably 12/12 from seed. very excite!!

are you going to be weaving them back under during the first few week stretch or just letting them go?

in a few months your going to have more weed than you know what to do with. But i imagine you will remember quick.

I am definitely going to be weaving and tucking these next few weeks to get the canopy as even and low as possible. If I had topped before I put the screen in, as others suggested, i would probably have a much better and even canopy and I would have kept the metal halide in the first couple weeks of 12/12 to reduce stretch but I got some uneven growth from my main stalks taking up a bunch of light. I'll remember what to do with it ;) I kinda.maybe.sorta smoke a lot so this will be helping me save some money when its ready to smoke. Im a couple weeks behind to harvest in time for my spring break but 4/20 is right around the corner and Ive never gone all our or anything for it, but this year I want to make some really good oil and hash. thanks for checking it out!

Was thinking, If you raised your screen a small bit then you'd be able to train that main branch a bit and it would give you a bit more space to fill your screen and get a more even canopy..

2 cents..

I agree with you. I just tried to train it down a little and i think I will be able to snake it down through the twine in the next day or so.

my next question is pruning. once the plant is in full bloom around 3 weeks, will pruning the leaves below the canopy cause harm to my buds or make them loose quality from the stress? I see a lot of people do it but I just wanted to know its adverse effects on the bud

I wouldn't prune like you do in veg, just maybe take of some of the low crappy bud sites that get no light. Maybe just a few at a time.

Forgot to ask, how do you like those air pots? I tried some smart pots(fabric) but it was annoying how difficult it was to water some days. How long do yours stay wet for?
