Can't argue about that. But in California I am rarely "legal ". Rules say I can only keep 8oz. between growing 6 plants. So rules say how much I can smoke and keep only 8 Oz. Six plants can grow maybe less or maybe more than 8oz? The dispensary I use is unlicensed therefore breaking the law. Nevada is even better, can buy marijuana all over the place, but it is illegal to smoke anywhere but a private home, I don't stay in a private home in Las Vegas. Rules defeat liberty in any color state.

You are incorrect about the laws in California. Under the new Adult Use laws, you can grow 6 plants per household, and if your plants produce 30 pounds, you are legally allowed to keep those 30 pounds, but you are limited to 8 ounces when you leave your home.

If you want to grow more than 6 plants, then just keep your Medical Recommendation current, and you will have no plant number limits, and can travel with 1 or 2 pounds.

Say what you want about him. I do. I talk shit about him all the time. I live in a state that voted for the guy. Most reasonable people realized it was a mistake to vote him in. The one that still like him are racist and such.
Serious question?

All while the nation is facing an opioid epidemic of epic proportion. An epidemic that has reached into every socio/economic class. Our nation is not run by elected officials. It's controlled by lobbyists who line the elected officials pockets.
How's that draining the swamp going?.

Or sell to one. Isn't that what happened in MI? As cops raided dispenseries, they seized the records of who sold to them, then raided those growers.
No seized records, no raided grows........You basically had to be ratted out. This began with a "confidential informant" making a buy at a shop. It stopped there, unless of course you, as the owner/operator of the shop....had grows supplying that shop.....They hit the shops and the grows, all at one time..... Ever shop owner I know, and myself. We never kept "records" of any buys we may have done. Much less of just who they were we bought from. No tax's, Only cash trading hands, no need to keep any "record" of anything. Especially, just who you bought from! It was like, "Hey, that's nice. Good test results. I'll take what you got. Drop in again, and we'll see what you got... I never took a phone #,,,,,,They had mine.

The only Federal raid in the state was on a rather shady grow op, run by a shady character that the DEA had past dealings with....The Fed attempted to get card records for several people involved. LARA (licencing and regulation admin) said NO. Law suit ensued. I don't remember if they got access to those or not. I think so but,to only the names given and not access to the Lic card list.

??? Yeah, uh, sure....... Losing recreational to existing Federal laws.....Was inevitable under Republican rule..... You can change a local law but, Federal laws trump state law......Who's in office, decides what gets enforced. Shove your crack, sport.

Liberty is the most important word in the English language, and the most abused in my state, California. 900 new laws every year for the past 12 years. 11,000 new laws, not regulations, new laws. Guess who is running this state? Progressive's don't believe in liberty.
Dems could have rescheduled marijuana under Obama but bowed down to the DEA budget requests. Who should I vote for?

Liberty is not part of liberals vocabulary.
It SURE ain't for conservatives either!

Jtf san Diego cares nothing about what you wrote. This may be law and I believe it is except you are allowed 1 0z to travel with and 8 grams of hash. These new laws did not help protect me in 2017..

guess i should not post about things i don't know about.

Here is what I feel though:
Commercial growing, selling and processing should be regulated as much as any government regulator feels happy with.
Grows for personal medical use and grows for personal use by an individual - keep the f out of my closet, my bedroom, my backyard, my garage and my shed. If it is legal, then keep the f away from individual growers, their homes or apartments or tents with threats of breaking some fing government employees decision on how much I should smoke, grow or crap.

Jury nullification Trumps all, pardon the pun.
Several of them once ignored the law/judges' instructions in Colorado, and found defendants not guilty.
This paved the way for legalization,
as states' atty offices no longer wished to prosecute cases they had a good chance of losing regardless of evidence.

Here In Allegan co. (MI). We have a story that effected the way the state handled outdoor grows on pvt property.
This happened almost 40 years ago.
Farmer had over 1200 plants in his corn field. He had another 300 ready to put into the field.
The word traveled fast and far........Even a militia group knew and had plans to do an armed raid at harvest time...
But, the state and co. sheriff beat them to it.
They watched the farmer. Saw him repeatedly going into the field (couldn't see him as he went in - due to the plants being in a depression (Big field).
They saw him move the ready plants to behind the house by a telephone pole.
Figuring they had enough they raided, and arrested the farmer and his wife. (NO! NOT ME>>>Do know him)
Long story short, The state and county got derailed by some fancy lawyering and they lost by jury as to the farmer actually possessing the plants and them actually being his/hers.
They spent a shit ton of money on the case and lost. No more losing. Just destroying.

New edict from those who spout such things. No more charging of out door growers. Simply show up, rip it up, and leave with the evidence. They were even nice and would tell you you weren't going to be arrested. (then every year after that they fly planes or choppers over your property to see if you started again.)
Sure did look funny with trunks full of 10ft plants sticking out and big ass buds almost dragging on the ground.....Bet that was one interesting 12 miles to the sheriff's dept...

I liked the "Now cut that out" years......
All ended with Medical in 08....
