Jaws gear exclusive test run!

I have been elected to test out some of jaws' s newest gear thanks to @csbseeds the strains to be tested will be

"apricot og f1" (alien apricot x fruity pebbles og f2)
and
"green demon og f1"(purple fever f1 x fruity pebbles 02 f2)

Also received some "purple alice f2" freebies but I will save them for another run

I planned on poping them today but due to a isolated stick bug incident in the flower chamber I want to give the neem a few days to kick in to insure no contamination of the test subjects

they will be run in sets of 10 each

Veg will be done with mh and t5

For a minimum of 8-10 weeks
In 5 gallon air pots
I will not give up my nute line up or how I use it (most people probably never heard of it) but it's a norcal secret I have family in the triangle using it for years but it's a well kept secret I was asked not to give up sorry guys

flowered under 2 600w hps with some T5's for side lighting

Clones will be taken and forced flowered Males will be destroyed before they ever reach the flower chamber for no chance of pollination

I'm all in, haven't ran any of their stuff yet

First off i am not advertising endorsing or promoting the breeder or these strains in any way expressed or implied i am simply giving my own personal unbiased opinions that i am entitled and should not be taken as fact nor fiction as you are free to your own opinions

That being said i want to cover every aspect i can of both breeder and strain (taking into factor of possibly unstable gentics)

These seeds were born on 1/18/16 and lets just say you can smell the freshness in the protective foam padding very healthy looking and fully matured good color thick with tiger stripes

Even the freebies fail to fall short of such quality i fully expected them to be of much lower quality since they are free but this is not the case

I understand the difference in seeds can be great from strain to strain but I'll still include a side by side comparison of a well know breeder who i have had pretty good experiences but sometimes they do fall short (no names here) simply as a control for side by side comparison

Alright so here we go 20 seeds set for germination today

they all look good I don't think there is any questions about viability

The only note to the breeder I have so far is
with the green demon 12 pack there was 11 not a big deal especially for testing purposes but for sales a closer eye to avoid complaints

24hrs germination rates are 7/10 on both

Germ rates so far 9/10 on the green demon and 10/10 on the apricot with no scarification needed the last seed will have till the end of today before scarification to help germination here we have pictures of the first 5 signs of early life on the journey (2.4 days from germination)

So after my grow room hit 90°F today in mild weather with a single 600w hps I need to tweak the light set up a bit here's the plan

9Pm-9am flower
7pm 12pm veg
Ac 10am-9 pm
both lights off 1-6 pm

I can't run 2 600w hps a exhaust fan and a ac all at once on 20a

So I will be shutting my hps off at normal time but I won't be Turning it back on till 9 pm tommrow it's 7-am- 7pm right now hopefully I won't cause hermie

After mild scarification the last green demon has germinated giving the seeds 100% Germ rates

7 green demon and 4 apricot standing up

Alright alot more to see since last time sadly 2 "green demon" never made it and one is mutated but I didn't give up on it and it's coming back to life so we have 10 apricot 8 green demon i think a few seeds did not like the peat pellets judging from the twisted leaves that the netting has been know to cause but I didn't want to take the chance of damaging tender roots just transplanted them 3 days ago into a blend of roots fox and pro mix bx the majority being roots I did this because of limited stock treated with lime they are all pushing 4 nodes except for my little mutant when they are ready I will be feeding with organics only they are under a 600w mh 18/6 I plan on doing one final transplant when they become established into 5 gallon smart pots given two weeks to recover then put into flower I'll upload some pictures later

Looking good fed with some fish emulsion silcia and zyme and they doubled there size had found some pm problems and treated with neem they look happy and healthy

My pm issues are gone thanks to the neem and the plants look happy there is a total of 4 mutants I am trying to stabilize 1 green demon that seems to be responding well and recovering and 3 alien apricot who don't care what I have to think the rest look happy and healthily

Back again I'm transplanting them into there final pots (5 gallon smart pots) and in a few weeks they will be put into flower at this time there is 2 green demon showing female preflowers

I'm height limited right now so I use short and squat to gain a few inches
