jars for curing?

does anyone have any suggestions for what the best jars for curing would be? preferably smell proof....

are these jars good for curing?

I just get the ball 1 quart canning jars from the grocery store. Duct tape around the box and they last along time. About $1 each. Fill 3/4 full and that's about 1.4 oz. After 2 weeks of cure I bust out the scale and go to 1 oz each. So I always know how much I have. I still burp every few days till humidity is under 45. Then it's just placed in my closet till needed. But most of the time it's gone before I need to store it. How much are you looking to cure? Oh and get the wide mouth if you can.

how much is key any jars good if glass and got a good seal
but i know sumbody that curees in garbage bags instead of jars for size of job

Garbage bags? Must be outdoor grower. I wish I needed that for indoors.

wide mouth ball jar ftw....

wide mouth so you can reach your hand in to the bottom...

or cheaper way is mainstays from walmart...like fifty cents each...

look on amazon for the canning jars with the locking lid and rubber seal. work great!

Those jars are very good. any glass jar will do, peanut butter jars, pickle jars, anything glass with a good seal.

go to the doller store and buy a case of the super large mason jars a case of 8 is 8$ they are thick air tight and hold over 3oz of weed un smushed

if you want to suck the air out of the jars to freeze and keep for long periods you can get either a food saver or one of those automotive vacuum pumps (30$) and a jar sealer. i hear the buds out of the freezer end up exactly how they went in. but yeah i guess a seal is a seal man. look at jars . com and see what types of seals they have. i think the expensive ones are overkill tho, just get some from your local store man.

watch out for the locking glass jars from ikea the "parfait" ones are not air or water tight when closed...
also if you use pickle jars...wash them a few (hella) times...i didn't once and had a few ounces of pickle OG

I couldn't find half-gallon at the dollar store. I bought some online. I found quart size locally.

o well it might have been doller generll where i got mine you could have deff found them at wallmart bro sorry you drove all the way to the store and they didnt have ne mine came in a brown case with a sheat of plastic holding them in
