Jar size for curing

I'm about to harvest my grow and have been wondering. What size Mason jars do you use for curing? Which would be better quart, half gallon or even larger than that. I am thinking that quart jars rather than larger ones would be safer incase of any issues arise during curing. Of course this will require more work to keep humidity on point. Suggestions and tips much appreciated.

I use quart jars, because that's what I have. At 48 jars, it's a bit of a management issue.

I use the half gallon size
Tight packed buds are not my thing

Yes otherwise I just was filling quart jars 3/4

I use half gallon, quarts are too small..

I like half gallon jars mostly. I tend to grow long colas and they fit well in the half gallon. Small jars for smaller buds. I find it easier to manage the large ones, less jars is less risk of potentially forgetting to put a lid back on and having it dry to a crisp. The larger mass of plant material also gives me a bit of extra room in that regard as well.

Have you considered turkey bags? For larger quantities they work great. I double bag and burb daily as needed until 59-61rh then into jars for aging or vacuum seal for 4+ months for tasty brick weed.

I have had good luck at ace hardware locations, best prices I have found for cases and in pre-covid times they often had a pretty large supply.
