Jar curing and RH/Temperature

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can clear something up for me. I've got a jar full curing. (At least I think) and the rh is sitting around 65 in the jar. I know the sweet spots 55/65 so I'm at the top end of that.

The temperature however is between 15/16c or 59/60f. I'm aware that temperatures can have an impact on humidity (higher temps - low humidity). I know the ideal temp for a cure is 21c.

My worry is that because the temps are low, is the rh actually lower than I think - so I've actually dried past the 55/65 cure window. They've been jarred for a week or two so far and I'm not getting the fruity aroma the strain was blessing me with during flowering.

Thoughts please!

It's too wet ,take it out and put back at 56-58 and watch you don't want it to go over 60.I would leave it out all day

It sounds like you are concerned that the low temperature in your curing jar is affecting the relative humidity (RH) and potentially drying out your buds beyond the ideal curing range.

It is true that temperature can affect relative humidity, with higher temperatures leading to lower RH and vice versa. However, it is unlikely that the difference in temperature between your curing jar and the ideal curing temperature of 21°C (69.8°F) would cause a significant change in RH.

As long as the RH in your curing jar remains within the ideal range of 55-65%, your buds should be curing properly. The best way to ensure this is to use a hygrometer to regularly check the RH in your curing jar and make any necessary adjustments to maintain the ideal range.

If you are not getting the fruity aroma from your buds that you did during flowering, it could be due to a number of factors, including the curing process itself. It is normal for the aroma of buds to change during curing, and it may take some time for the full aroma to develop.

In general, it is important to maintain the proper conditions for curing in order to preserve the quality and flavor of your buds. I would recommend continuing to monitor the temperature and RH in your curing jar, and making any necessary adjustments to ensure that your buds are curing properly.

Squeeze a flower, if its brittle throughout you've gone too far, if it bounces back you're golden. Keep an eye and burp regularly, the slower you cure the better IMO.

The buds gas off during the cure. Dump the jar out once/week, the 65 rH is a little high but the low temp is fine.
