Another 1/6 panel witness, imagine what they would do if the FBI started taking to them about it? Congress is gonna wanna talk to these people and someone will squeal. I believe this is a conspiracy that might send hundreds of state republicans to prison in several states, if the DOJ pursues it and there is evidence of a crime, there is evidence of a conspiracy and forgery. Conspiracy convictions carry long prison sentences and if they go this route, it will cut the heart out of the insurrectionist wing of the party in several states and scare the shit out of the rest of them.

I have a feeling this fake elector business is gonna end up as a major crime involving hundreds of people in a conspiracy. Things are moving since Maddow broke the story about 3 states, then it jumped to 5 states and I hear it might be up to 8 states. These people are guilty of multiple state and federal crimes including conspiracy to commit election fraud or sedition. Those involved and those who signed their names and there are a lot of them, should be worried, they could be swept up in a conspiracy trial and get serious federal time. The crimes are many, plain to see and easily proved, as is intent, people are gonna panic squeal and deal on this one. Looks like Donald might take more down with him than I figured, if this bunch goes down it could up his body count significantly.

My real name is Elmer and I shot my own eye out, oh and I'm a traitor to this country.
How many Michigan republicans are gonna go down over the fake elector scandal? Looks like your AG wants their asses and referred the case to the feds and might do them herself as well. I'd say whoever signed plus a dozen more locally and the ones in DC at the WH. Then there are the ones in the other states, if they go for a conspiracy it could nail a lot of assholes with serious time. You might even see trials by summer over something like this, there will be squeal deals and guilty pleas as people panic.

This is getting interesting, Donald is gonna take them all down with him!

From this story it looks like the FBI can read encrypted telegram messages! If this is true, a lot of people should be very worried, many of these assholes including congress people and coup ringleaders used telegram. If they recorded encrypted telegram traffic, they can crack it later if need be or the get a warrant etc.

Meadows was at the center of this scheme, he was Donald's cock and brain and whatever Trump knew, he did too. Meadows could be looking at 20 years as a ringleader of this, if they go with conspiracy. Sounds to me like Eastman cooked it up and might have been on the "team" that was on it. These guys could be in a lot of trouble, it looks to me and to legal experts that they broke the law and could be in very serious trouble. These kinds of people never imagined they could be spending the rest of their lives in prison and are completely unprepared for the shock and expense. These folks could be in for a very rude surprise and they must be starting to worry. Their comfortable affluent lives could be shattered and they could find themselves with long sentences in federal prison and very expensive legal bills.

Maybe they thought signing on as fake electors from their states was a joke, well the joke looks like it might be on them. It might have gone unnoticed or even prosecuted, but 1/6 changed that and it is increasing being seen as part of a larger coup attempt that included many plots and schemes to overturn a legitimate election and retain power illegally.

Texas district attorney says AG Ken Paxton violated open records law, must release Jan. 6 records
A Texas district attorney’s office said in a letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) that he violated the state's open records laws and was required to release communications sought by five newspapers relating to the Jan. 6 rally.

Jackie Wood, the director of public integrity and complex crimes for the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, told Paxton that their office had determined that he had violated Texas open records laws after news outlets sought to receive information related to communications about the Jan. 6 rally he attended.

Paxton and his wife attended a rally prior to the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021, in which former President Trump falsely claimed voter fraud had occurred during the 2020 presidential election, the news outlet noted.

According to the district attorney’s office response to their complaint, editors and reporters had sought information about communications he made between Jan. 5 and Jan. 13, 2021, communications he received from a phone number regarding to “state business” on Feb. 12 and “records of any text messages from Feb. 19, 2021 exchanged between AG Paxton and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes related to official business, including, but not limited to, visiting a live law enforcement scenario simulators.”

The district attorney’s office response to their complaint cited responses from Paxton's office that either claimed the information was protected under attorney-client privilege, said there was "no information responsive to your request" or provided identical documents that had been previous provided by another state's attorney general.

Wood wrote to Paxton that their office found that he had violated Texas open records laws and said he had four days “to cure this violation.”

The Texas Tribune noted that, according to Texas law, states agencies that have an open records complaint made against them either have to be handled by the Texas attorney general or the Travis County district attorney, which the news outlet notes is a Democrat, José Garza.
