Hi everyone!
Here is the initial info! I hope other people will join this thread and post pics and info about your auto-flower grows! Lets get growing!
Thanks and enjoy the pics and info!
Temperature and Humidity:
Light on = 20-25 Celsius
Light off = can drop to 16-17 Celsius
Humidity = 40-60% relative humidity
Watering =When needed - keep moistish - every other day pretty much
Nutrients:
Bio-grow = every other watering - i.e. twice a week
2-3ml per litre
Bio-Bloom and Bio-Topmax =
Start after flowering - week 2/3 - i.e. twice a week 2-3mls per litre
2 weeks before harvest - only water
Germination
Germinated the two seeds by soaking them in a small amount of water for approximately 24 hours then put them into a ceramic bowl using paper towel for 12 hours. They were placed in dark and warm conditions. Both seeds germinated well.
Soil
Both seeds along with root tips were planted into two separate plant pots. The soil used is Bio-Bizz all mix soil. Be very careful not to touch the root tips and try t keep contamination from all sources as low as possible by keeping all utensils clean at all times.
Lighting
The lamp used for lighting is a 300w CFL along with an e40 hanger. The seeds are auto-flowering meaning that they do not require a light/dark cycle for flowering. This means that the seeds could technically be placed straight into the plant pot/conatiner intended for use throughout the whole growth cycle. However, i personally like to
Nutrients
The nutrients i shall be using are as follows:
1) Bio-Bizz top max
2) Bio-Bizz bio-bloom
3) Bio-Bizz bio-grow
I will use approximately 2-3 ml of each per litre of water. Lower than the recommended dose to prevent nutrient burn. Less is definitely better than more in this case. During weeks 1-2 Bio-grow will be used. During weeks 3-6 Bio-top max and Bio-bloom shall be introduced. The last two weeks before harvest shall be kept nutrient free and will be flushed clean of any remaining nutrients by only watering the plant with mineral water.
Air circulation
Fore the first 10 days give or take i will not be using a fan to promote air supply for the plant as it is not necessary. After these 10 days or so though i will be adding a small fan for extra ventilation. This ensures the plant receives all the air CO2 required for growth and also so that the plant grows strong stems to protect it but most importantly to hold those juicy fat buds!
PH, moisture and light testing
The best thing to keep on top of the environment in your grow room is to buy a 3-in-1 tester. They are batteryless and will measure the moisture and PH of the soil as well as light intensity (good for those of you who are unsure about sufficient lighting). They cost around £5 on ebay including shipping. Thats were i got mine and seriously guys it was a great addition to my grow kit! Real bargain! Extremely helpful! PH-down and PH-up can also be purchased from online gardening stores, a real gardening store or just ebay. Jesus man what cant you buy on ebay!
