JackyLED 7 Way A21

After doing a bit of research I saw that several have grown with A19 Of A21 screw in LEDs, and I was able to find some cheap Philips 16w (100w equivalent) bulbs in the 2700K and 3000K range.

I cut the globe down, instead of removing it completely, and painted the inside of the dome with flat white. I found and increase in light production, or rather, less light loss doing this.

Placing 7 of them in the splitter gives me anywhere from 56000-70000 lux at 10" from the plant right now. It uses 112w total.

My question is two parts:

1. What kind of growth can I expect out of this light for a single plant? I have seen mixed results and want to be realistic.

2. I did a search and didn't find any grows that are similar, any help?

Should light a 2x2 ft space, plenty for one plant.
There are a few on here have done the same as you, one guy even lit up a whole 5x5 that way.

Results I have seen have been amazing considering!

Wish I could remember all the names of the guys who have done it. Hopefully they pop in and say hello.

Awesome! That is encouraging. In a 1.5x1.5 I would have expected decent results considering the lux measurements I am getting, but I did not know what kind of spectrum that put out? I know it is a rough conversion, but the numbers I am getting would equal around 800 ppfd. Plenty for one plant, I would think.

I plan to do a HLG 100 for the next grow, but just thought I would mess around a little with these screw ins.

Hopefully a few more chime in with their advice/results.

Cheers mate. Also, how do I "Like" a post?

@captainmorgan had probably one of the first cree bulb grows around, with impressive result! Granted, he used a plethora of bulbs around a single lady;-)

I'm sure he'll throw up a pic, was a hell of a grow.
Probably the first lol, I bought the bulbs when Home Depot first started selling them. I made changes from the original setup.

Awesome! Thanks for the links and joining in here. Looks like there is certainly some results to be hand.

Question... How close were you keeping the light during seedling or early veg? I feel like they are cooking her a little. Currently the light is 12" away.
