Hi basically which is better, pro or cons-
or neither? I've read on a few sites, A+B is great but the blooming mix is a pass.

I figure you're speaking about MKP. I use it, starting at week 2.5 of flower, 1.3-1.6g/gallon. That's in addition to Jack's 5-12-26 (A) and Calcium Nitrate (B) which all the plants get.

Works perfectly fine for me.

I just read a blog that says bloom booster is nothing but a fallacy. THe plants will only take up what they need and adding P in flower does nothing. There is plenty in any balanced fert and adding more just throws off the balance locking out some other micro nute.......I like to see things on the simple side. Feed them what they need and nothing more. Although throwing the kitchen sink at them sounds fun, does it really do any good. I'm a noob but it does seem convincing

Well, considering that most of my plants go P def in mid flower if I don't add a bit of extra Phosphorus, I'd say that it's not a fallacy for me.

Besides, I don't call it a "bloom booster". That's a marketing term. I call it what it is. Potasssium and Phosphorus.

You can call it what you want but at the end of the day flower ferts are always higher in P. If you give them a balanced diet will the extra P really make a difference?
What I read and it make sense was that what makes a plant flower is light wavelength, daylight time, genetics and the such.....pumping a plant full of P that it doesn't need doesnt help a thing. Not being argumentative just looking a all sides
