What's up guys? Quick question, approximately what should ec/ppm be after mixing jacks 321?
I make more concentrated batches, then dilute down to my desired EC, which is typically between 1.3 and 1.7, depending on stage of growth. What's up guys? Quick question, approximately what should ec/ppm be after mixing jacks 321?
Ok, so I could mix a gallon of water with the 321 ratio, then dilute with ro water? I've heard a few times now to run full strength but It seems to lockout my plants.I make more concentrated batches, then dilute down to my desired EC, which is typically between 1.3 and 1.7, depending on stage of growth.
I make 80x concentrations of into a "part a" (Jacks + Epsom), and a "part b" of CalNit. I add around 12 oz of each part to 2 gals of water (with silica already added), which makes a solution around 3EC. Then I use that as a stock to top up my res along with water to get to desired final EC.Ok, so I could mix a gallon of water with the 321 ratio, then dilute with ro water? 9.9 Epsom?According to Jack's feed schedule it's 2.4 EC
3.8 5-12-26
2.5 Ca Nitrate
9.9 Epsom
I'm sorry. I guess I should've specified that I'm using soil as a medium to keep mom's in. No res to top of until I start my dwc again.I make 80x concentrations of into a "part a" (Jacks + Epsom), and a "part b" of CalNit. oops messed up my decimal there, should be 0.99g, their feed schedule lists 98.94g per 100 gallons9.9 Epsom?
Same difference. You just mix down to your desired final EC into a different bucket that you feed from.I'm sorry. I guess I should've specified that I'm using soil as a medium to keep mom's in. No res to top of until I start my dwc again.
Sure, but in my experience final mixdown is easier in more dilute liquid form, in terms of accurately hitting desired EC, compared to concentrated salts. Also if I'm going to dilute it down, couldn't I just weigh out less salts using the same ratio?
So basically just making bottled nutes. LolA 80x concentration in a quart sized bottle will last you for 20 gallons of feed. That's a lot less of your time spent weighing out salts.
Yep, but not paying for the water to be added and shipped to me.So basically just making bottled nutes. Lol
I can't argue that. LolYep, but not paying for the water to be added and shipped to me.
I run the 3.6/2.4/1.2 and get around 725-775 ppm with 1 gallon of ro.I thought it's 3.6-2.4-1.2. Also that ec seems a lil high. Anybody else have experience running full strength?
I've done some work in big commercial grow rooms and I've never seen dry salts being used they're buying 55 gallon drums of liquid nutrients never understood it or bothered to ask themYep, but not paying for the water to be added and shipped to me.
They ain't in the know. LolI've done some work in big commercial grow rooms and I've never seen dry salts being used they're buying 55 gallon drums of liquid nutrients never understood it or bothered to ask them
So you have silica + jacks mix in your concentrated bottle then just measure out and mix with your xx gallon feed. Do you encounter separation at all? I take it you shake it up before use.Yep, but not paying for the water to be added and shipped to me.
