i checked the trichs..they're still clear. I still have a couple more gravity feedings to go. I only flush for one week..I use organic nutes.

Ahh, I see.... and its worth it too. What kind of trich status are you hoping for when you harvest? I mean percentage wise...

i like to go for a good 70%/cloudy 30% amber...depends on strain too..I let the indicas get nice and amber, and the sativas more cloudy..

Right on man. Kush is my favorite type of smoke. I love the granny's attic/mothball flavor and aroma. I know this thread is about Jack Herer but since we're talking about the Bubba here are a couple of pics of mine. I'm at day 36 flower now and the smell is intensely musty. Also it has calyx formation like nothing else I've grown. A bunch of perfect little frosty cones building on top of each other. Looks like this could be the platinum variety as well. Starting to get quite a silvery appearance to the buds. How long do you usually flower your BK for, Smokey?

looking nice my friend!! I actually dont really keep track of the days...I just check the trichs..I was looking at them yesterday and Im at about 20% amber. I wanted to give them one more gravity feeding, but I am going to flush. probably gonna chop at the end of the week. I'll post up some pics tomorrow when the lights come on.

Yeah I never usually keep track of times either which is why keeping a journal on here is good coz you can look back on it and see the progress and the exact time frame.
Sorry to hear about ya timer, maybe you should look into a better quality timer to avoid that happening to you again.

if you take a black light in the room for about 5 ten minutes a day, it will help the trichome development....

really??? I started to flush the lil biotches...I checked the trichs...they are ready.. cant wait!!!!so you went with my suggestion...?
i use purple maxx for increased trich development..I use it as a foliar spray in the 3rd week of flower..I spray about every 3-4 days until week 6. it adds a lot!
