Jack Herer & Strawberry Kush

I just wanted to post some pics of my girls. First time grow for me and my wife. If you take a look at the Jack Herer she grew very tall so I just bent her and all the shoots shot up toward the light. It's amazing!

If anyone is growing Jack Herer or Strawberry Kush feel free to post pics. Also i found the Strawberry kush Seed while smoking it and its doing great 4 tops on that bad girl.

Thanks. I've done like seven successful grows? I'm not sure how long that took. A few years?

I noticed your thread because of your merciless bend job. Most new growers are afraid to do that. Props.

Thank you very much. I had 6 to start out with Casey Jones, Blackberry Kush, Cheisel, and Jedi and they died on me. Ph issues, nutrient overload, just craziness. Now on a good solution regimen and a digital ph tester does wonders!

Yea, less. Is more in a hydro system! Are u going 12/12. From seed? I noticed the hps going.

It's not such a bad thing on that Blackberry Kush. That can be a stubborn strain.

Yeah, getting a bead on your ph is half the battle for bed-wetters. (That's my personal term of endearment for hydro growers)

No I had them under 4 2ft T5 for about a month except the smaller strawberry kush its been under the hps almost its entire grow. 19/5 right now until Thursday.

So last night my timer that my 400watt hps is connected to got bumped triggering my light to go out. So i panic and unplug and plug back in but, no light. After about a minute or so it turns on. That's not all my bulb starts flickering on and off after the incident about 4 times. After doing some reading I think what happened was that when the timer was bumped it triggered the sensor to go off therefore turning off the light. Now when that happens I'm under the impression that your suppose to unplug it for 5-15 min so the ballast can cool. When the ballast is cool it will start up like new. It has not flickered on and off yet so I hope it remains stable throughout the grow.

Another Question. Has anyone personally used additives like Bud Candy, Big Bud etc? If so do they really have any impact on yeild?

I can't speak for those, but I've had great success with Liquid Koolbloom, a GH product. And yes, the right bud enhancer can make all the difference.
