I will do this little grow journal in 2 part

That growing session was really hard, jack herer aren’t an easy strain. I had some big stretch, flowering during summer and at 103 days of flowering i decide to cut because the climatic condition was crazy

I had some different pheno, little strech, middle strech, big strech, bud like grain, some with an awesome cover of trichome, other with less, some huge bud fluffly and other like a rock, with different smell.

But at the end, i found 2 good pheno, but it’s not Worth the price ( i ordered during the 30 years of sensi seeds with a 30% discount) . I was obliged to have some jack herer in my mother plant room.



Setting of the growing :

-coco dtw with the canna nutrients line
-always the same condition climatic as my other grow journal
-under 400w hps with one 60w cob of todogrowled
-vegetative in 1.5l pot and flowering in 3.5l pot.



I laucnh 10 seeds

-9 seeds go out from soil after lot of négligence
- 3 male, including one herma
-6 female

For start

So we have the Jack #1, grow like the grain, with a nice cover of trichome, small stretch, more indica, but i don't like the smell, it is acid putrid.

The jack #2 with a nice stretch, big bud but fluffy. The smell is similar to the #1, acid but less

We have the jack #3, a big stretch, this one have good bud density, no too much fluffy with nice covering of trichome. The things that is really interesting is the smell, something really exotic, like hazy pineapple citrus mango sugar, something delicious !!

The jack #5 is something awesome ! The strech was big but less than jack #3. The smell is like the #3 but something more strong and more citrus pineapple. The bud are so huge !​

Here we go for the second part !

It was a difficult session, the difference between the jack herer is awesome, you can have small plant with little rock bud, and big plant with fluffy bud. This strain isn't really easy to grow, and the flowering time can be very long. But for each good things, you have to wait !

The first part was harvest at 75 days of 12/12, it was the more ''indica'' of this session.

We start with the Jack Herer #1, acid and putrid smell, like catpiss :D , bud like grain, so compact with a good trichome covering. The strech was normal. The effect is really interesting, the high is really clear and motivating. Perfect for creativity or for sport activity.

After we have the Jack Herer #2, normal stretch, fluffly bud and for the trichome there is better, but there is worse, nothing fantastic. The smell is not so bad, a little bit hazy with citrus note, with pepper and cheese, strange smelle :D . The effect is really light, more cerebrale and no physic, perfect during the day

Now the Jack Herer #4, really similar to the #1. Same bud with a lot of foxtail. The covering of trichome is really nice. The smell is the same as #1, something putrid and acid, it's really special and i don't like it :D , but when we smoke it, we want another one , there is something strange, still same as #1, an awesome clear high. Hope that one day i will find some strain like that with a good taste !

Now we are at 93 days of 12/12 with the Jack Herer #3. Nice bud, not compact, but not fluffy. The bud are big with a nice covering of trichome. Big stretch, i pinch, crop and super crop, the stretch was awesome !! She doesn't want to know anything.

For the smell it's really nice, spicy with citrus, hazy with pineapple mango. The effect is very strong, good motivating but if you smoke too much it's the reverse, speed coughlock lol. I keep that one because i love her !

And for finish, this is the Jack Herer #5 at 103 days of 12/12, this one was very long , i could have let her 2 or 3 week more. I hadn't the patience and have to launch anothere session.

The smell and the taste is incredible ! Similar to the #3, Citrus pineaplle mango, with some hazy pepper note. I really like this taste because of the strong citrus taste. I'm a citrus lover :D . Effect are same as #1. I keep that one too in my mother plant box, i can choose between #3 and #5

Some Jack Herer male i put in flowering when i harvest the last female.. Just for test the male and do some F2

This is finish with that Jack Herer, hope that you will enjoy that little review, i try only 10 seeds so difficult to see all the phenotype. This strain isn't easy but can make awesome things ! Juste the price is very expensive, if ou want to pop 30 or 50 seeds, you have to make a bank robbery :D

Loved this thread, thanks!

I used to have a dealer who always had awesome Jack Herer to sell. It looked just like #2, fluffy, velvety buds... mmm
