Not if temps stay at 98. Buds will be fluffy and not dense, they also lose potency. Photosynthesis can't take place at temps that high. Plus temps that high running DWC will cause root rot and other problems.

Yes, my temps in the tent stay at 78 with a/c running. But summer down south can be brutal. 93 outside metal building....gets hot quick when the a/c quits

Same here it wasn't the led it was the 109.f outside temps that got me the light wasn't even running

Are you using cal/mg?
Yes I am using it as well. 5-6ml per gal.
8ml micro 16ml bloom 5-6ml cal mag 6ml hydro guard per gal. (3 gals.) I add back with ph'd water about 1 gal per day for 2-3 days and then change out water for a new batch of water and nutes. She drinks about 1 gal per day now.

That's what I use. The lucas formula. But im soil. But i just ordered my first waterfarm. Im gonna give it a go. If i can do it. Ill nvr grow.in soil again. I'm running pe v2, critical auto jus for shits n giggles freebie nvr done an auto before ither than to make a cross. But pure auto I've never grown clear out to harvest to just smoke.. And barneys farm red cherry berry, and a sour livers x honeybee that's should be here any day now in the mail from a forum member. I wanna do them in the waterfarm.

I have not used any foliar spray, luckily bugs have not been an issue as of yet.
My light is a Viparspectra, 700w, dimmable led.

So your only using one par700 led light? What size is your tent? Looks like you're getting good light penetration. I think I'm going to buy a Viparspectra light.
I used the one 700w up until yesterday. I added another 300w since I didnt do any defoliation and its pretty thick in there. Had I defoliated I would have only needed the 700w. Its a 3'x3' tent.
