I think this is to give everybody a good idea of what temps and humidity they should be working towards so what in your opinion is the ideal???

Mine usually runs

Veg : 80 degrees and 60 to 70 % humidity

Flower: 81 degrees and 40 to 50 % humidity

Although Ideal should be around 75 - 78 degrees with the same humidity as stated above. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure others would have there own opinion as well.

I keep my grow area controlled during veg and flower.

Veg - I like to keep my temps right at 78`F with humidity right at 75%.

Flower - Keep the temps controlled at 70`F and humidity right at 55%

During the veg cycles, its fine to have higher temps and higher humidity levels.. in fact most people prefer it this way.. as I do. Why? Well, its mainly because the higher humidity levels during the veg cycle help promote more foliage growth.. and healthier foliage all together which can and does help build up foliage growth and density.. which in return brings the plant out to be more bushy and full (dense). Too high humidity levels at any of the cycles (veg or flowering) is bad.. because too much moisture promotes mold and other bacteria growth. Especially during flowering! During flowering, its very important to try and get the humidity levels at least down around 55%.. even 60% is alright for flowering too. I know this from personal experience... until I found a way to lower the humidity levels down.. I was dealing with 65 to 70%% humidity levels at all times. It never caused any problems.. but.. I still needed a way to lower it to at least 50% if not 40%. Anything higher than the 60% humidity.. and your likely to have problems. I say 60%.. but 65% would probably be the MAX % of humidity, before you would actually be inviting mold to and or other bacteria growth to form.

Anyhow, that's my 2cents on the subject..

for veg you want high humidity and a bit higher temp 80 to 85,humid.around the same, for flower you want to try and keep the temp and humid lower,70 to 75 temp and the lower the humidity the better 40%. if you have high humidity during flower you risk the chance of bud mold. good luck

yeah, do any of you use humidifiers, as i have seedlings at 1 week old and because they are so small its hard to get the humidity level up. any suggestions on a good one that u can set the level u want?

gangjaluvr nice reply man!! rep added!

This is our first indoor grow too as well. but heres our thoughts..we have a heating pad for the seedlings on around 75 degrees under a tray with no holes (soil for the 3 week old and perlite under the newest sprouted seedlings). The key for us is having a clear plastic dome on top of the tray. You can control the humidity with a plastic wheel that has holes. Also misting the inside of the dome with help speed up the process. Eventually with the heat and mist you will have plenty of humidity inside of the dome. Our 3 week olds love it! and we just sprouted 6 new seedlings (2 Chem Valley Kush, Sour OG Kush, Sour Alien, Headband and a Juicy Fruit X Silver Haze cross! :))

For Veg: 25/20C
Flower: 25/18C
RH: Never over 60% (Save for cloning.)

As long as my temps aren't too high, I don't really worry. In Veg I mist regularly. I don't like high humidity due to the risk of mold, and I feel that lower RH encourages transpiration.

I try to push my RH down to 40% in the flowering area because I can have fairly substantial fluctuations in temperature which could create issues. On the upside, my plants (Blue Satellite) are starting to produce some nice colour, almost black.

My rule-of-thumb is that if the plants are healthy and the temps/RH aren't producing conditions that encourage disease, all is well.

everyone sounds like they got the right info on there.....one thing i wanted to add that i didnt see anyone put was that even though plants usually like 75 as ther sweet spot if your plant is growing under a powerful light like a 1000w it can handle highter temps better than say a plant growing under a 400w so if your lights are small 400w or less you should really try and keep the temps below 80 if your lights are 600w - 1000w your plants will handle the higher temps a lil better and can actually do better do to the intence light its recieving... same with co2 lil hotter temps help the plant uptake the extra Co2
