I put four plants into the flower area last night. They are in round 1 gallon pots.

I just got my exhaust fan its 465cfm witch is a little much for what I need, so I was thinking of hooking a dimmalbe switch to it. I will have to figure out the proper way to do it.

I will update with pics. I took pics of each plant that is in the flower area the other night I just to need to crop and upload them.

Just a update with the temps and the Hum.

The temps have been around 60* with the lights off, Hum has been around 55%.

And with the lights on the temps have been in the 90* with hum. in the 70% range.

I just got my new exhaust/blower fan 465cfm, I only run it with the lights on. The temps have been in the low 80* with the hum around 50%.

This is with the area closed off. I have a sheet of panda film with velcro to keep the light from leaking out. There are a few areas were you can see light but its not a big deal.

A few of the cuttings have started to root. I have one in a solo cup under fluorescents tubes. I will through a few more pics tomorrow.

So this the set-up.

I have two areas, one over the other.

The top is the veg/clone area. The size is 6' x 3' x 4 1/2' (LxWxH) I have three t-12 two tube fixtures. 6 tubes total. I'm using a few different lights spec. two tubes are 6500k bluish, two tubes are 5100k and the other two are 4100k. I also have a six bathroom vanity light fixture with six "Y" adapters (1=2 bulbs) for a total of 12 bulbs. I'm using cfl (compact fluorescent lighting) that are in two spec.s 6500k and 2700k.

I have rec. taken down the cfls because of the heat that is being put off. The plants were growing nicely but if I didn't watch them closely they would get burnt.

I have a 16" os. fan running 24/7, I keep it on low now sence I'm only useing the t-12. They don't give off any heat -none. I just leave the plants right under them.

All of the cuttings go into a flora cube. The flora cubes are from walmart, they come in a three pack. There are around 8" x 4" x 4" is size. and are easy to make into any size that you want. They only cost $3.50 and I can get around 100 to 200 cubes depending on the size I need. The ave. is a 1.5" x 1.5" cube. I soak them in phed water for around 15min-45mins. The only draw back that I see from using these is that they can dry up on you if you don't watch them, I need to put a few oz of water in the tray every other day. One of the reasons that they are dring up so fast is beacuse I'm using a heat pad under them.

The flowering area is under the vegging area. I'm a using a 600w dig. hps system that I bought from HTG. The size is 6' x 3' x 5.5' so a foot taller then the vegg area.

This area is lined with panda film just like the top area is. They both have a panda door as well.

I'm using a 16" os. fan, a box fan and a 465cfm exhaust fan. The os. fan moves the air around right over the plants, the box fan pushs air under the plants and the exhaust fan is sucking the hot air out from one side and pushing it back in on the other side, by the time the hot/warm air that was sucked out is now cold air from the exhaust. The exhaust fan has a 6" dryer ducting tube connect to it, I think it is 8'-13' not sure.

As for power the area does not have any outlets so I had to run a ext cord, the first one I was using was way under grade so I went to H.D and bought a Super heavy duty one. I think the standard ext cord is 16 gauge wire, the new one is 12 gauge indoor/outdoor. It was $25 but worth it.

Lets see $25 or my life if the house burns down, ummmm ya I went with the $25. My life is worth at least $50 -hahah

Someone reading that post having not looked at your pics might think you're into ya grannies! ;) LOL...sorry, that's gross, I feel a bit sick now! anyway......

Excellent man...I can't wait to see her bloom to full potential. It's like an ornametal bay tree or something and will be even prettier when in bloom I'm sure. I need to start tieing down my potential moms I think, or they're just going to be too tall. Quite inspiting to see that. Thanks for sharing!

I used the LST and kepted wraping the main branch around and around. She would be at least 3' tall if I didn't do it.

Last Night I watered all of the plants.

The ph for the vegging was 6.2 and the e.c was 0.6-0.8

The ph for the flowering was 6.0 and the e.c was 1.0/1.2 and 1.6. The lower ec was for the younger and the higher was for the older.

Well about 4 days ago I took some smaller lower branches off a plant that has been in flowering for 6 weeks, the hairs were somewhat redish/brown, aroung 25-35% red hairs.

So today they were about 50-65% dry. I took the branches and put them into the stove for about 3 min on 350*, I then took them out and cut all of the buds up (to make a J) I then took a piece of foil and put the cut up buds on the foil and placed it into the stove again for 3 mins. This got it nice and dry.

I rolled my J, took my first puff off of MY home grown grape-ape, man.............. its.........what was I talking about???????????

Anyways its nice and smooth going down and at the end I got a grape or berry tast, it subtle but good.
I thought it would be more of a energetic high but its more between high and baked.
This could because i'm a light weight. :blsmoke:

Ok so tomorrow I will have to go buy a dehum. the hum has been up in the 70% with the lights off. I need to get it back down to 40-50%. I went to walmart but they didn't even know what they were. Sometimes I just think they only hire idiots.

Oh we don't sell that and you look over to the right and there it is.wtf

anyways I looked in every isle and no luck. So I went to Home Depot and they had one but it was $150, just about $120 more then I want to spend.
