Its possible grow in a room at 11°C?

hi fellows.
First, my apologizes about my english.

I have some plants growing in a room of my house, the temperature its always at 11°C. The plants only have 10 days old, but only have the 2 first leaves. The other ones comming have violaceous colours and are very tiny.

I think need more temperature, but have COBs Leds and not have closet for the plants. Only a steel structure for the light.

Its my first try in these room. Years ago grow at my room. I 've sleep with the plants at these time, in the same room, with a radiator and laptopt, the temperature in the room never down from 18°C.

How can do it?
Make a closet for the plants?
Translate the plants to my bedroom?

I have a cat and he like eat the leaves. I 'd make a secure closet for the plants

Cleanliness is #1...You need to give these ladies the best possible environment to ensure their success. The cat having access to them is not good practice.

You need to create an environment that you can control, hence the use of tents and the like.
26-28 C is optimal temperature.
11 C is very low, I would expect very little growth, if they survive.

The good new is that if your room is around 10 C, then you shouldn't run into heat problems with traditional HID lighting in a tent setup. If you are sticking with the COB light setup then you definitely need to "close them in" (tent, closet) to retain as much heat as possible.

I would not consider my grow room to be ready for plants unless i could garuntee temperature between 25-28 C

Consider a small tent to get you started doing things right, or create your own small tent or grow box type of thing, the main point is a separate little environment where you can manipulate temperature to best serve the ladies.

Amazon has tons of cost effective tent options and I have personally used them with success.

Seems significantly too low to grow you would need it to be like 60+ to have even a decent grow. Can you afford a heater for the room.?

But I have tent.. Over night my temperature go down 15c
Think about floor heat foil or heat pad for terrarium ...
Will it generate heat over whole tent o just floor

A heat mat will radiate some heat, I am curious if it will bring you above 20C...let us know

Though I agree with most of what you've said having the temperature between 25 and 28 is not necessary I always keep my room at 20 during the off hours and 22-23 during the on hours. I have no problem with growth.

that's 59....that's cold...but if that's as low as it gets during lights out, i wouldn't sweat it too much. probably wouldn't hurt to get them off the floor though

Honestly, I have never experimented with temps, 27 C was drilled into me by a mentor some years back and it has been on my "Pre Planting Checklist" ever since, interesting to see that you are having great success with lower temps! I've always struggled with too much heat so I was always happy when i could maintain my 27 C "ideal". I am curious if your temp was @ 27 C if you would have any noticeable gains or drops...

It would be interesting but every time I go in and it's around 25 I have to crack the window cuase it feels too warm, but I actually did have a crop this summer that yielded more than my last crop. At least you make me less worried about the heat my problem has always been keeping the temperature down.

Go to 5 c. During real life night..

Want to start but won't start until I h the solution for this problem...
Gone try heat floor pad 110w...
Only consern is can I put smart pot on it

Other than adding heat sources to keep night temps tolerable, why not insulate?
I don't have a concrete answer but perhaps trying to save some heat that you've already produced while the lights were on, instead of adding a power consuming device to compensate..?

OR maybe pull some warm air into the grow room/tent from a warmer area of your grow location?

Example:
Scenario: Plants in cold corner of basement in tent/room.

Problem: Too Cold at night.

Possible Solution: Find the duct that goes to a room on an upper level. Disconnect the duct in basement and hook your Flexi duct up to it. With an inline fan, the register in said room will now pull warm ambient air from that room and feed your grow at lights out (set up on timer)

Again this is just me spitballing, you may not have the luxury of being able to slightly modify your home ducting. I've never tried this but the theory seems good, its usually at least 5 C warmer upstairs than basement in my home.You can probably leave the duct coming from the furnace open to help heat up the basement, might just get you up to operating temps.

As indoor growers we battle with excess heat and we are very creative in ways to get rid of excess heat, same principle just backwards!

Theres two things you need to be successful, a green thumb, and very good problem solving, if you have those two traits, this shit will become easy.
