if you can change your light spetrum up to 2700k some soft white lights is what you need. and if your looking for a cheap light search ebay or insidelight.com pretty good deals on there. As far as jarring. cut, dry, then jar all of it give it 2 days of open and close twice a day then just sample buds from the jar. I start with the little ones so that when i get to the big ones it been like a month in and out of the jars.

Should I change all bulbs to 2700 or just like one of the ballast tubes? I also have another ballast should I just get some soft white tubes and put them up as well as the current set up? Again I would like to say thanks guys without the advice and tools on this site I wouldn't have had a chance in hell of getting this far.

The red spectrum is better for flowering, so I agree with the poster suggesting the change, and I would go with all 2700k's. Your buds do look immature, I'm sure they will explode soon with a lot of new growth by using a little more light and the proper spectrum. You could try "sampling" the lower buds that really won't put on any weight :) Be patient! It's a sativa and those girls are high maintenance but oh so worth it lol

Good Luck!

Alright so I just prepared another ballast and went out an bought some 2500k tubes I am going to replace one daylight with one of the new ones and hook up the other ballast on the wall. Is this a good idea? I have about five hours until "dawn" so I've got some time to change my plans.

I just reread that and I didn't explain it right I bought two 3000k (all they had) tubes I had an extra ballast so I'm going to put it up on the wall with one of each tube. I was also thinking of continuing with the cfls. My thought is the more light the better right?

yeah fender more lights the better but also more lights more heat. CFLS are cool they dont put out hardly any heat so you can put them as close as 3or 4 inches from the tops and they wont burn. the drawback of CFLS the light coverage and penetration is kinda boo you gta add so many to get a decent light spread. But the super positive thing about cfls though if you do LST they are glorious. I was a CFL man for like 3 years. work great for me just needed to many lights for light 3-4 plants.

You need at least another 5 weeks on that with a 600 watter. How long has that been in 1212

once they are dry
they will get you high,
but if you jar them to cure
you will be quite sure
and you will no longer wonder why

They have been in flowering a couple days under a month. Just about to sanitize and head up for construction. With all the things I've done wrong this grow I should be a pro at what not to do lol. Yeah I figured I was awhile out still but like I said I really have had no experience with anything but call the hook up pick it up and get blazed. It's kinda nice to know I ain't got to deal with shady people or pay the 30 a gram they charge out here.

As said before, you are just getting into flowering, you have many weeks to go yet, they're just getting started

Really the only reason I thought they were almost done is the hairs are starting to turn colors as well as they seem to be receding. Is that normal?

Hey I am about a month out from harvest and having read a bunch of these threads I am a bit curious about curing. I am growing some girls that came from a bag of good mids already the bud looks a million times better than it did. I guess what I'm trying to say is is it worth it to cure even though I don't have some super crazy strain? She is sativa and I am really I mean really looking forward to smoking these girls. I am not asking for a heated argument just some ideas. I really appreciate the help. I don't know if I honestly have the patience to wait another 60 days lol.
Just cure as you normally would.. and cheat and pull some smoke as needed as you cure. Hell, you aint going to smoke ALL than in a couple months... are ya?

If I get a decent yield it won't be a problem at all I thought the shit was almost done (ill admit it, rookie mistake). I thought by looking at it I would only get about an oz off these three plants but aperently I am due for a growth spurt (got my fingers crossed).

I sure hope so I got the lower k rating lights going and they seem to be loving it. Me and my wife walked in today and I kid not they look swollen as hell. From doin a bunch o research I think I might have as much as eight weeks left.

Thanks I feel like I just got a compliment about one of my kids It's amazing how much of a bond grows between grower and plants. I really can't wait to try these girls.
