there under 24 hours of light, the daytime is 11.5 hrs and i got them under a 100 watt mars hydro ts600 on 24 hours. if its good sunny day they go out under it.
night time temps are low, there in a conservatory and its sometimes freezing outside

They look pretty wet. Cold wet roots equals slow growing plants.
no, they get water when there dry, there only in starting compost with added nutrients at the moment, there soil mix with dry amendments is cooking as we speak

I think you're suffering from low temps slowing their size/growth...but alas, as autos, they're gonna start flowering when the timer goes off no matter how big they are.

Just one or two nights in a row can stunt a plant harshlike....the more nights like that the harder they're hit and longer recovery. Warm stable everything is pretty important for them early life like that. My photos i can drag out of that, but not autos.

I only grew autos for about a year. They would initiate flowering sooner with weaker lights. Do you have weak lights?

daylight plus a loo watt led over them, so yes, they should be under my 250 watt mh in my tent, but i wanted to see how early i could get plants here in the uk going, the cost of eletricity has jumped so muc, lots of uk groers are going to grow outside with autos to supliment and be there compleat stock unpaid for of course. to save on cash this year

watering once a week at presant
If you're watering once a week the amount of water you are giving is too much. The ideal dry back period should be 2-3 days tops. If it takes longer dial back on how much water you're giving per watering until you achieve a 2-3 dry back.

its only so low at the moment as there only 3 weeks old and we havent had any sun
so 2-3 days, id have to put them in the tent with a 250watt mh on them or a 400, 600 would be over kill as would the 1000 watt, but i think a 400 would be ok. rather stick to the 250watt mh as it would cost 20 quid thats 26.14 usd a month, not worth it for three autos in my book, if it were a photo and i took xcuttings and grew them under 400 then flowerd under the 600 to start with followed by the 1000 watt i would hapily pay the cash out
