It's Grasshopper Time

We have always had a problem with an overabundance of grasshoppers here. Does anyone have a repellent that works. Eradication would be impossible short of a cropduster. I have mixed up a strong solution of Cayenne boiled in water, but, maybe someone has a better repellent.

Cats work very well. They love to play with them. But what really fcks up gh's are praying mantis'. Hatch a handful of eggs next spring and hey will get huge off of their grasshopper diet. I have seen a praying mantis snacking on a grasshopper twice its size like it was the thing to do. As for now you can you cann control them by hitting them wit h a direct it of mollases water. 4 tbsp per gallon. It clogs their pores and they suffocate. I have watched one die this way before. It just sat on my okra plant and baked in the sun.

4 tablespoons per liter rather. Sorry
