i live in the central valley in the middle of Fresno its been 105+ the last three days and they are loving it. been at this house for 6 years and i had a problem with the heat the first year. the back of my house is facing south so my plants get sun all day and the temps on the back of the house get in the 130s no problem when its 100 + and its a light color so it reflects a lot of sun. i have found a few small things that really help putting your plants in the ground is your best bet when its really hot bigger hole the better it will do, bigger and more roots = more water it can get to the leafs,water in the am like 4 or 5 be for the sun ever hits leafs and make sure your plant gets enough water the plants in the pictures are getting 25 gallons every two days when its 100+ and a low humidity with soil that drains well . and always use your finger and see how wet the soil is the top 1 ta 2 inches should be pretty dry befor you water again feeding your plant seaweed and sea kelp extracts seem to really help with heat stress and montanagrow makes an omri listed beneficial silica product that helps with stock and stems again to get more water to leafs. and a product called sea-90 by bogie brew witch is trace elements it has all 90 elements on the periodic table witch will help your plants uptake of nutrients. and just growing organic it seems to produce a much stronger healthier plant that can take the heat!!

its only two holes, they are pulled about 2 feet from the house to the edge of the hole. at lest 8 10 feet apart ive never seemed to have any problems with it...im under my house at lest a few time a year and ive never noticed a build up of moister or anything like that on the foundation wall.

About four people {out of the ten or so I saw at work} ask if it was hot enough for me today.

We have cooled down to 94F with only 51% humidity {heat index of 104F} this afternoon. As long as the rain keeps up, my plants are loving it. But then it's always 99% humidity here in the mornings. The 1st time Sister's in-laws came to visit from Colorado they thought it had rained during the night. They had never seen dew before.
