It's Been Awhile, need some Advice

It's been about 3 years since Ive done any real growing. Had a few ideas i want to put together in the next few weeks let me know if this sounds good or if anyone has any better ideas.

I will be growing in a 72" H x 48" W x 22" D cabinet made by Closet Maid Available a Home Depot for $109.99.

Light will be provided by a 400 watt HPS from insidesun.com for $90.00

I'm not sure whether I'll be doing hydro or some kind of perlte mixture as of yet for a medium. I have limited experience n hydro but i'm sure I could make some decent bubblers.

I know I'm going to need some type of intake and exhaust system on my cab maybe someone who has done it in a cab before could enlighten me as to how many CFM I need to be moving.

Anyone who could give advice as to maybe better lighting, medium ideas, keeping temperaures at bay. I will be doing a grow journal in as soon a couple weeks. Thanks for reading and helping.

if you shop around you can get a brand new 400 or 600 for around a 100

ventilation is going to be a MUST! strong powerful ventilation....because your lighting is going to put off mass amounts of heat. depending if you were to go co2 or not, id aircool my lights.... but that all depends!

you know any reputable online dealers I can purchase the cheap stuff at??? and what about air cooled hoods they seem incredibly expensive

this is an expensive hobby my friend

it can get pricey. my advice is either find a store like bghydro that will "price match" and then shop around for the best deals or eBay but buyer beware - you tend to get what you pay for with this hobby.
