It’s been a decade since my last grow…

At this point, I'd have to move 'em down south a handful of hours. ;)

We had our first night below 30f and it was all over. Leaves off and on the ground. ;) I just dropped another round of Tangerine Dream seeds and once those sprout I'll do some pots with the seeds from this batch of peppers.
its getting below 30 every night consistently now

We've had a few inches of snow, and it's been mostly 40's during the day down to the upper 20's at night. So the outdoor growing/planting season is done for the year. There's no direct sun until about 8am and it goes away by about 4pm, so not much to work with when it is here.

I'm spending my extra time (working flex home/office 50/50), by planting a few new seeds and making/testing some edible stuff. First batch of infused honey wasn't successful in the way I wanted (though a couple spoonfuls puts me to sleep for 8 hours REAL good), so I'm trying again today with a new recipe in a couple versions.

New seeds making good:

Nice looking plants, glad this run is working out. Looks like a lot white pistils still shooting out, so those have some potential to really stack the flower clusters some more still. I think you’ll still be pretty happy with final buds, even tho you wish you’d vegged a little longer.

im still debating if I should wait longer before my next round. My grow room isn’t heated. The lights keep it warm enough so far, but it isn’t the peak of winter yet

I started lollipoping my plants to cut down on trimming. A few weeks to go still. Started Trainwreck germination.

collodial silver experiment was a failure. Many pollen sacs formed, yet release no pollen. Further research tells me I stopped spraying too early. Learning and moving on.

9 weeks of flower. I’ve started my next batch. Should have done it sooner.
Great work man

My best advice is try going for 10-13 weeks, at least once with a strain the breeder says only takes 60-70 days. The buds tighten alot and branches sag, pistols recede and calyxes appear to be about to burst

Welcome back!

Finished my 2nd run. Trainwreck female sprayed with colloidal silver three weeks ahead of the rest.
Used the pollen to make Trainwreck Fem and Trainwreck x Afghan OG.

I’ve been calling it Afghan Trainwreck. Ended up pollinating a few lower branches. Ended up with 300+fem seeds.

Started a few of them as testers.
