its about to begin!!!!! chrystal...but, i am going to call her white light. hps/t5

a strain has been chosen, chrystal/crystal rain from nirvana. to me shes white light, white widow and northern lights hybrid.
it will be three ladies to start off with.
2 4 ft. sun blaze t5 strips 6500k
2 150watt cfls 6500k
1 150watt sun blaze hps doing 24 to 12/12 then 1-3 days of dark.
1 uvb light for a few days before dark period
soil: fox farm ocean forest,happy frog soil, bone meal, big bloom, and cha ching.
each will start in a 3 gallon planter and LSTing each one.

mylar and i want to experament with mirrors maybe dulled, to improve light.......works with lasers....
room= 4x4x7ft
trying to do this as cheap as possible. being poor and all.
still need a few cfls when they can be purchased.
i also want to get another hps but,a 400 watt; before flowering.
if anyone has any advice, i would love some feed back. pics will be posted when available.

Sounds pretty good. Curious how that 150 is gonna work out for ya. With the space that you have, I would have chosen at least a 400 watter. But who knows... I use nothing but CFL's. Try some ff cha-ching in the final month of flower. Its organic, cheap, and your buds will love you.

thanks, i will check it out. i know the space is large compared to the hps, but i will keep them together and confine them, so to speak. i would love a 400 watt plus but, i cant afford that yet. i will add some more cfls and another t5 strip. this is only for two to three plants. as things grow so will the space. any low budget ideas would be cool to help with lighting. anyone try strategically placed mirrors? they retain energy can can redirect it. i could be way off tho.... ill look into it i suppose.

also going to purchase a strain from attitude to add to the grow for a little variation. white widow maybe. any recommendations? it will have to be picked within 20 hrs. i am looking forward to giving the bcn diesel, la blanca, and matairo blue a try.

This sounds like a solid CFL grow sirwolf. I had originally planned to use CFL for it's efficient electrical use, however, I decided to use HID since I had the resources to. I am still very curious how a CFL grow will look from start to finish. Therefore, I have subbed Hope to see some pics soon!

thanks. yes, it is a cfl grow aside from the 1 hps. and if i can, one more on the way. but i wanted to see the t5s on the growth/veg state. thanks though. im watching yours too. i found a agriculture store right by me. awesome.

i ordered some seeds from attitude(white widow), and im getting four strains for free. that's pretty neat.

the grow will start in a couple days, it will be my first. everything is ready. waiting on a few seeds, but don't need them at the moment. i may add a 400w mh/hps to it as well. then aside from 3 crystal rain laides, i can throw in the bcn diesel, motavation, and, blue mataro.

can't wait for the pics man
