Yea I’m too happy if u been following along then u know why. 3 males before finally a female after buying seeds.. after studying the male plant I clearly see the big difference!!! I just wanted to share the news and yea I can’t with Regular seeds anymore I literally wasted so much time but I still learned a lot.. thanks for all y’all’s advice and comments be it good or bad!! try germinating in a good quality potting compost and in 9" POTS MINIMUM. i germ indoors in a cool, not warm cupboard and i get a very large number of female plants, im sure you can change the sex of a male4 seed to female by carefull germination and initial growing tekneeks. ive done this for years now, and allways get more females then males, from a single seed to multiple seed germinations.
keep the nitrogen content on the lower side soil wise, so dont go useing a high nitrogen content opotting soil or soil mix if making your own soil up and you should see more females

Sex is determined at the time of pollination. If I gave you 1000 reg seeds from 10 different strains (100 seeds of each) I'm betting you end up at a 50:50 male/female ratio.

if sex is determined at seed, how come a plant can change sex to germinate an all female crop in nature
yet cant be influenced at germination, by good germination practices, please explain if im missing something there.
it may just be a hermi, but it's sex has been influenced BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL FEMALE PLANTS, if its possable in nature to get all female crops, why not from a regular seed pack

i don't give a fuck what you all think you know (no offence intended), but it must be partialy something im doing, as you all are wrong. that ,or i just keep getting female seeds in my 10 packs

seriously though, it must be something im doing, i cant explaine it any other way, ive moved house 3 times, so its not the water.saying that, ive never used adulterated tap water, well water of borehole water, never chlorinated of full of estrogen that cant be recycled from mains tap water, so that maY BE INFUENCEING THEM SOME HOW.

the compost has been differant brand each time, although this new one from the local tip, organic green waste compost is a little richer in nitrogen then i like to germinate in. but a 10 pack of sensi's mexican sativa, 7 girls out of 10 reg seeds. done it again.

i seem to remember reading ed rhosenthle(sp?) or the other grow guy from back in the day. saying that larger post for germinating in, ie, not restricting the initial root growth. so 9" pots minimum, resulted in a higher female ratio to male plants in experiments.

I am lucky e4nough to have green fingers, i can grow anything i put my mind to, get it from m,y mother. but that may or may not explaine it, depends if you believe in the universes electromagnetic energy and how it influences everything from how your day go's, to plant growth

apart from that, i have no explination for it. it just works for me

id love to take that bet and hopefully prove im right, or i can do it some how. but my space is at a premium for growing, its indors or maybe the odd one survives our wet n windy welsh wether outdoors,

i used to think something i was doing was giving me more females as well bro, when i was popping five or ten seeds and getting only one male

its not your soil or water

its when i started popping 50 seeds i soon realized about half were males

strange, you can get a field full of females in nature, proveing that all seeds can be female, untill they send out the signal and some become hermaphrodite, not sure if they can change into females from males,

but you were doing something differant, when germinating that many seeds at a time, ed found that one end of the area used for germination turned out male, and the opposite end were female. just break up the seeds into smaller groups of 9" pots and see what happens. worth a try for more females in my book
