Noticed seed pods today. Started picking them off but theres alot. Is there any way to reverse or save this? Probably not Im sure. Is there any reason to keep it? (dont care about producing seeds.) Will it produce smokeables at all? Should I just hack it down? If I do cut it down can anything be done with the plant?

Just hack them down and get it over with. Put them in the compost pile. I guess you could try and smoke the leaves, I wouldn't. After a while it will not bother you so much, it happened to all of us.

I just pulled a male. I'm practicing my cloning with it. Going to throw them out but I need to decide which method works best for me.

If it is your only plant grow it out, clone it, or whatever every grow is a learning experience. If you have others that are confirmed girls or have not yet shown, put a bag over it, remove it far from the grow and kill it. Make sure to change clothes and shower before entering the grow area again. Good Luck

It IS the ONLY plant. I put 1 seed in an AEROGARDEN 3. This morning he showed his balls, asshole. hehe

Maybe I'll grow it out...I dunno.

If I order female seeds are they GUARANTEED to stay fem? Or is this something that can change with handling and what not?

My plant started showing male parts about 4 days ago. I have 6 fem seedlings on the other side of my closet and I didn't want to risk the pollen getting in there and fucking me over in 4 weeks. I was only growing one plant before I sprouted the seedlings and needless to say I got a little bit attached to it :( It's almost 3 feet tall now but I had to put in a garbage bag before it could release any pollen. I don't know how I'm going to dispose of it, it kind of feels like I'm suffocating someone to death in the corner of my room :cry: I guess everyone has had to do this but what is the point in not getting fem seeds? Why even risk spending all that time on something just to throw it away. Anyway I probably won't care as much when the other 6 I have are the same size in 6 weeks

Heh. It does suck to kill plants before they've finished their thang. I feel that. You could go for a long walk and plant it outside. FAR away, though.

I just drove it about a mile away and put in a really out of the way area. There was a drip system for some bushes so I pulled it into the pot. It sucked but it should be a nice surprise when ever someone ventures back there. It was already about 3 feet and seemed to grow 2 inches a day so it should get pretty tall before someone finds it :P

ITS OVER. I PULLED IT, THIS IS A REALLY SHITTY FEELING.
The roots were white and fluffy at first glance, but then I started pulling them apart and noticed browner roots around sponge...is this normal?
Its a sad sad night in my house tonight, cant seem to smoke enough.
I have some more seeds, same strain and some other labled "big dense buds" somebody gave me, wonder if its worth another try with these or if I should order some fem seeds? i dunno, feeling kinda discouraged.
IDID gain some knowledge/experience, have some better nutes to start with now so theres a plus.

Growing the plant out is bad advice,once a male reaches maturity it will have dozens of pollen sacks on it,inside each pollen sack are tens of thousands of pollen spores,once those pollen sacks start busting open your grow will be severely contaminated with pollen,for the next year or longer the stray pollen thats in every nook & cranny will polinate the females,once a female is pollinated it stops producing bud & puts all its energy into seed production.

Throw that male away asap,dont even fuk around praticing cloning with it because once a grow area has been contaminated with pollen its a mother f ing nightmare to get rid of,unless you want to pratice watching your future female plants grow seeds then throw the male plant away with god speed.

it is so disappointing when you discover your baby is a male and you cant really use it for anything. which someone suggested to practice cloning, thats a good idea but damn I remember in the beginning trying to figure out if I could keep it and use it for anything but really you cant theres no sense in it :( fem seeds are the way to go and even those can hermie

What about the root color? The only brown was inside close to sponge, is this ok? Ive read brown is not a good sign but I didnt see any brown untill I pulled it and started disecting this klusterfuk of a root ball.

If you have some other trimmings lying around I guess you could make some hash or oil with it. Just a suggestion.
