iTop's Led Hydro Run.

Alright, let's get this started.

We're growing some LA Affie thanks to Cali Connections, and looking forward to seeing how this whole thing rolls out. Also have some UFO's in this one. My buddy came across some pollinated seeds, so we're growing some.

A little bit about what's going on. I'm giving not only LED's a try this run, but Hydro as well. So this whole grow is going to be brand new to me, so if anyone has anytips, would be more then happy to hear.

Specs:
3'x5'x8' Closet
Temperature: 75 degrees
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients.
Light: GrowPro LED & CFL for seedlings.

Seeds:



Seed 1:
Day 5
Had a slight purple on leaves, when first popped.


Seed 2:
Day 3
Popped, but the cotyledon was damaged, and the plant looked stunted. The first set of leaves are still pushing for the light though.


Seed 3&4:
Day 1
Sprouted Today.

Off to a helluva start.

Things look like they are going nicely bromego! Excited to watch these bitches grow

Ok, I've just been adding water to these little guys for now, while still in rockwool. Gonna move them to bigger mediums soon.
Affie seed has yet to pop.

Seed 1: Bagseed
Day12: Strongest and fastest seed so far. Hope for female.



Seed 2: Bagseed
Day10: Still struggling. Looks to have either a deformity or a damaged leaf. Tried to show it as best as i could. Gonna keep this one around.



Seed 3,4,5,&6: Bagseed (Two seeds are a day behind, but they're overachievers)
Day8: Reaching for light.

Alright, update time.
So ALL of our LA Affie seeds failed. 1 was lost, lol. 2 looked immature, and didn't pop roots. Two popped, but turned brown in a day, and just stopped.
And last gave a fighting chance, but also died, on day 3. So we germed a freedbie, Dinafem's Blue Hash, and the root popped in a day.
Sitting in a cube, waiting to see the world.

So we're down to four plants, one was attacked by a savage puppy named, Chief, haha.

I've put the two largest into a 5 Gal recirculating hydroponics system. They been exploding with growth, but are still under my compact fluorescent.
I have a 10 gal res for now, with 1/3 strength Advanced nutrients line up. Each of the plants have been topped, so just waiting for some growth, so i can do some LST-ing. MY favorite time.

Seed 1: Bagseed
Day 25: Still pushing ahead, and looking pretty solid. All nice new growth.



Seed 2: Bagseed
Day 22: New growth was deformed like the last, but i topped it, and the new growth looks just fine, so we'll see how this one plays out.



Seed 3: Bagseed
Day 21: Growth is a lot slower than the first two in the hydro set up, and also has a growth defect. But it seems to be healthy and strong.

Day 21: Growth is solid. Looks strong, healthy but still on the slower side.

Yeah man! That's when i always do it, at the 3rd node, so you can LST them from the start.
You'll see.

Didn't notice till now, but i performed a FIM on seed #4

That was actually just a cellphone picture, but I've been using a T3i.

Day 38
Bagseed: Plant's growth pattern is a little funky. I've never seen a plant grow like this, and i'm kind of excited to keep it around. So two of the four tops are growing normal, but the other two are triploids. Growth is still uniform in the triploid branches.

Getting bigger. Still slower growth due to cfl. LED had to be postponed, so i was hoping to distinguish the gender, but it has yet to show.






I have another plant in the hydro setup, i just didn't take any pics of it this round. Will update that plant later.
