dude.. those plugs must have been subjected to spores before you put your clones in there. Because I'm pretty sure mushrooms like that can't spread that fast just by being close to another medium.

I use these same type of plugs and have never seen that on them, wow. They must have been stored too wet or something. Too weird. I would take it off.
