and nobody buys those $500k machines anymore. they either lease, or rent, or just make payments until they retire
And yes they do. He saw I had 2 kubotas so he went and bought the biggest Kubota they sell to run his grain elevators. Just to mess with me. He owns 3 semi's. And a FasTrack 4220 that will do 50 on the highway. I've never seen anything like it. He also has rubber cat tractors. You need to get out more. I have Mennonites and Amish moving in now. It won't be long until the city people will be here admiring the smelly Amish.

believe me, there are plenty of big farm operations where I'm from. grain, canola, and peas are what they grow up here. I know how it works. the Mennonites have a lot of money. no Amish here though.

You see I was born on a farm in the 40's. I've lived with these bunch of rednecks most of my life. They usually have the most screwed up kids you've ever seen. Hilarious. Money in beef too. The Mennonites have two beef feed lots a couple miles across the field. They buy corn, silage etc. from locals. But you can make good money selling stuff to city folks too.

Thanks for the feedback I will reflect deeply on your wise words, thanks chomo, haven’t you got a kiddies party to go to?
no, but headed to Whitehorse tonight. a trapper friend's wife and daughter were killed by a grizzly in Mayo earlier this week. going to the memorial to offer support. pretty tight knit community up here. hold the fort together while I'm gone, would ya?
