I'm watching CNN and they are MILKING this Sandy Hook thing, sad music, inverviews with the berieved, pictures of the children, descriptions of their hobbies and likes. And then, at the end of the segment - back to business as usual.


News organizations don't need to do this. We didn't see this with Inoye's funeral, we saw him being eulogized and watched him get carried out of the church. This should be the same sort of thing - enough pictures of the little memorials with the candles and pictures - enough enough.

It is almost as though these news folks don't think we feel quite bad enough.

I disagree. If that was the case MSNBC would be wall to wall shooting coverage.

Of all the networks CNN has been the most vulture like network. We've been avoiding the news because it's been over the top. I have kids the same age as those kids. Our school system received a threat this week and the school has been on lockdown since. Have to show my school issued ID,my drivers license and get a pat down to enter the school for pickup. All the cops at school, the fucking non stop coverage on the news, and the lockdown have the little kids asking tons of questions.

I saw the movie "Network" not so long ago for the very first time. Then it was a vicious satire. Now it's looking like a documentary. I lament. (Oh look ... a camera!!) cn

Obama has exibites ZERO evidence that he is "trying to do away with the 2nd amendment", where do you folks get this stuff? Oh, from Wayne LaPierre. Obama is just waiting for the right moment - he is giving gun owners the right to carry on Federal land and on Amtrac just to fool you all.
