I'm watching CNN and they are MILKING this Sandy Hook thing, sad music, inverviews with the berieved, pictures of the children, descriptions of their hobbies and likes. And then, at the end of the segment - back to business as usual.
News organizations don't need to do this. We didn't see this with Inoye's funeral, we saw him being eulogized and watched him get carried out of the church. This should be the same sort of thing - enough pictures of the little memorials with the candles and pictures - enough enough.
It is almost as though these news folks don't think we feel quite bad enough.
