Issues with Vero Led Damaging Plant

I have a problem thats been real frustrating. I recently assembled a grow light which is 4 Vero 18 3500k running at 50W each for a total of 200w + the fans. I have 5 fans running, 1 fan just for extracting the hot air from the heatsinks and drivers. So far the heatsinks are cool to the touch with the cool air sucking on constantly. But after all the time it took to build this light I have got nothing good out of it and all it did was damgaged my beautiful Cherry Bomb lady. I have previously tried to use the grow light before i added an extraction fan and the plant did not like it at all and cause the chlorophyl to die in some spots of the leaves. So just yesterday I had the cherry bomb growing really healthy since I had it under cfl lighting. But i decided since I just modified the grow light there wouldnt be anymore heat issues that i would try to introduce the plant to the light and this morning I woke up to the plant being really droopy and she looked like she was was burned by the light because there is dark green spots on the leaves that will eventually dry and turn brown.

My plant looked way better than this with the leaves angled at 45 degrees but now alot of the big fan leaves look damaged.

Is the light too intense for the plant as it is in a 2x2 tent? I have seen people use a 400W HPS is this size tent and the had good results. And i thought LED was supposed to be low heat.

Anyways I even put acrylic covers over the cob chips in an attempt to keep heat down but i still feel heat from the radiational energy through the acrylic but isnt that what i need for the plant. I have put my hand under the light and i doesnt feel uncomfortable just slightly warm.

My temps are 80F to 86F and my humidity is around 40% but i really hope any of you can help me figure out the issue and offer suggestions. I also included some photos of the plant after it has been out of the light so it doesnt look as bad. Thanks1459030997400-867125174.jpg This is the top of the grow light

This is the damage, it seems that the chloryphyl died and turned dark and it happened on most of the big fan leaves. In about a few days the damaged parts of leaves will turn dry and brown just like this spot on this leaf in the image below but this one only got damged a little

You need 5 gal for that baby. I've run 8 vero 29's in 11 sq ft. I have found I need more calmag with very high light intensities. I'm running 16 cxb3590's now. The more light the more they need.

That spot is from you spilling nutes on the leaf. The chlorophyll did not die. If it did the leaves would not be green they would be yellow and purple.

86 is too hot for any grow room. You want temps around 75-78.

The plant is probably root bound too.
Hi hyroot I dont think that spot is from getting nutes on the leaf, I try to avoid that. That spot happened right after i put it under the grow light. At first it was dark then turned rustic then light brown. I also realize my temps are too high but do you think this damge is caused by the heat or the intensity from the light. As i have had the temps reach 86F with cfl and no dark spots appeared. You can see in the 3rd photo the spots and this happened on most of the big fan leaves. Also I dont think the plant is root bound yet it hasnt been in the pot that long but i will transplant soon. Thanks

Do you think the plants need time to adjust to the light? I will post pictures in a few days of the plant to see the progression of the damage.

That's the early onset of phos def. Those are the juvenile 3 fingered leaves. So those will get pulled anyway as the plant gets bigger.

I am using Dyna grow nutrients right now with npk of 7-9-5 at around 450ppm with added calmag. But the damage happened overnight so idk.

The plant will need more of everything with more light. I switched from fluorescent in my veg area to 4 veros at 25 watt each. They are 5000 k. They work great. And plants grow much faster and need more nutrients. I use Cal mag from the beginning when I transplant. Nothing fancy here on nutes. The bottom leaf is probably being consumed for nutes. Bigger pot and some micronutrients would help.

Def nute or something dropped on the leaves. I've seen this freq where I work.
The thing is i had the spots happen from the light before and it looked just like what it does in the 3rd photo. I do hope the spots arent nothing but I have a feeling that the leaves will dry up after a few days on only the dark spots

What temps do you have in your garden?

I hang 2 wireless thermometers about 8" below my 2 led panels. They never get above 85°. That is mostly heated directly from the leds. I am 24" or so now from 1 month old plants. The canopy stays below 80 or so. I would have trouble feeding a plant that small in that pot. Mine are a little bigger in 5gal buckets and I water every other day or so. They suck it up. Also I don't use lenses.

What medium are you growing in? Unless its coco I would cut out the cal/mag ppms and replace those ppms with more dynagro 7-9-5 ppms instead, dynagro outside of coco doesnt really need anything else .Honestly I feel like this is a nutrient issue relating to intensity.More nutrients are being utilized for photosynthesis and the fans are being sacrificed.I seriously doubt its rootbound.
