Two runs in a row have produced no visible signs of mold but the buds all have a musty or unnaturally lemony ammonia smell mixed in with the original terpenes while still growing and after chop. I’ve had this happen with improper dry/cure in the past but with these 2 runs it has happened with living plants around the .6-7 week of flower. Humidity stays low and air flow is good. I’ve actually been more attentive to humidity,temp and airflow than ever so I’m really scratching my head over this. Long story short, good smell starts to fade around week6-7 and a musky smells begins to come on. This change happens fast within days. When pinched, bud will have a strong acrid smell that stings the nostrils but if just rubbed on outside it still smells good. Over the course of the next week or so the smell of bud in grow room dramatically weakens and what your nose is met with is a musky smell. I’ve yet to see any visible mold and it’s a shame cause the buds are beautiful and potency is there. I’ve been perpetually growing for over 5 years and the only thing that’s changed is the last two harvests have been at my new place. Perhaps I need to move

A lot of mold issues here but the issue when in low humidity doesn’t seem to have a lot of answers here. I’ve been reading a lot and not seeing any real conclusions being came to in the threads. I’ll just assume it’s mold in the house and there’s a fuck ton of spores in the air here. I peeled back carpet and see what appears to be mold. Idk , I’m reducing plant count cause I hate to see it all go bad like this and giving one more try. If same issue arises, I’ll just move. I have my health and animals to worry about and there must be some serious mold issue here. I moved to this house by a lake and this is where the problem began. Humidity is really high inside the house (over 80% everyday when I moved in) but I drastically reduced it when I began growing. Thinking I’m living in a mold box. The landlord is a cheap scumbag. Part of the dowstairs was once a garage. I’m seeing on outside of house he’s done a lot of bullshit sealing so I’m assuming water has been an issue. Just putting it all together last few days. I live for my plants and this has just been the most frustrating 6 months for me

yea man. I think it’s this house. I don’t see what I could have done different to change the outcome. Humidity and airflow were very good. I’ll treat this carpet, bleach walls and get some hepa air purifiers and see if I bounce back. I got a creeping feeling this is a mold nest
not spending my money to take care of this issue. It’s gonna cost the landlord money he doesn’t have if it turns out I’m right. The carpet pad appears to have mold. Seems to be some mold on baseboard on bedroom closet too. I hear he got it dirt cheap and it’s a nice location and looks real nice now. I’ve noticed heavy rains it looks like water will soon be at the door. There is a gap under front door. I bet water has came in and soaked the dowstairs. Something isn’t right in here
