To think that "God" if he actually exists, and any sane person knows that he doesn't, well to think that "God" has promised a group of people, "Jews", Some land, "Israel", is ridiculous. Why in the world would a "God" promise a group of people land or anything at all, while at the same time destroying countless lives of another group of people "Palestinians". If This "God" actually exists i don't see why he would have any preference over any human being or species as we would all be his creations. Now with your logic, why don't i go knock on my neighbors door and till him to get the fuck out, all I'll have to say is, "sorry dude your property and everything in it is now mine, if you've got a problem take it up with "God", he "promised" me your home". So many religions, but a person in every religion will say their religion is real.
