I currently have Swerves pre 98 bubba in seed. Popped them, will see if it's anything like the old cuts I got from ograskal and Swerve in the mid 2000s. I've grown many crop of bubba, the legit pre 98 is a low yielding, short squat indica, round swollen calyx, larger than normal tricomes, does best in a SOG set up in my opinion. Frost 5 inches out past the flower easy when grown well. I had the purple pheno too, very similar in every aspect, except had some purple leaves. (Equivalent in every way) block buster on the scent. Carbon filter killer! Smell it at the end of your block in the car with the windows up (at harvest time)ish definitely one that the scent will get you noticed until it's in the jars. I'll be able to tell if the beans match the old cuts
... I have a lot of experience with bubba and OG kush so I just recently bought like 10 packs of the caliconnection seeds. I also bought archives seeds, designer kush (Face off og x Hollywood PK cut) and popped them all at the same time. Been about 2 weeks and they are starting their 3 internode and first full set of leaves. Ironically the designer kush from archive, looks identical to the Tahoe og, Larry og, king Louie 13 og, the first set of leaves all look almost the same except 1 of the king Louie has some very broad leaves starting, 1 of the Larry and 1 of the designer all have one bean with hybrid vigor and broader leaves than the others. So I believe it might be a recessive gene? Also each bag had about 1 seed that was uber slow to grow. Watch it be the best. Hahaha
