is this stem rot?

its my 2nd time cloning and both times i ended up with stems looking like this what do you guys think couldve caused it?
i guess the soil in my cups stays too wet or either my humidity level is too high

Hey man do yourself a favor.. Get clonex and rapid roots with a dome and a heat mat and call it good. Its really easy and a great way for beginners. can fit like 100 clones in one of those domes and theres not much maintenance just keep em clean. good luck. Not sure what your picture tbh theres to many variables.

given the north koreanish country i live in i wouldve done that if i couldve dont that
best that i can do is getting them in soil and keeping them in a bucket with a plastic bag for lid so you get the idea how my hands are tied getting things and stuff
i need your opinion on whether the soil staying to wet/too much humidity have choked the stems like that
