in truth T5's lack even more penertration than cfl's ...
IMO ..last grows I did with T5's back in the late eighties
I always trimmed the lower 12 inches as the light never got their
it improved venting too.
here the guy has made a carpet
the cfl's don't have to penetrate much

I have done a couple of T5’s from start to finish and they did ok and better than my 150w cfl’s but now I use them for veg only and they work as well as my HID. Fuck did they even have T5’s in the 80’s lol.

I stay out of the light threads but do read them for the entertainment factor lol. I need heat so for now I stick with HID. Going to build a light soon actually, just for kicks, getting pricing together ...... fuck their still pricey up here lol.

What are your plants growing like bro ? Have you noticed any change in growth?Yesterday, when I posted new photos I did change res and increase nutrients to 1200 ppm (liq is brown)...
Today I checked the roots and they look absolutely diffenet! I dont know what to do I an in big panic!!!
Please tell me that is not root rot...
So here I am with a bottle of vodka waiting for you answers guys. Really stressed out!
