man, you have to keep the dwc no more than 21c (75f) - otherwise it is like drowning a soil plant in water. roots need oxygen. it's hard to tell if your roots are rotten by now because of the light, but dude, this is wrong... get a water cooler or an a/c, there's no point in putting more oxygen because water at this temp cannot hold any oxygen.

or better yet - plant them in a pot with some coco in it.

Your roots aren't rotting but the temp is definitely high in your rez and your plants show it. Freeze some 1 liter bottles and put 1 in your rez.

you want to have it between 16-21, with about 18 the optimum. over 21 is very bad

Can't see with your hps's on. Turn off and take another photo of your roots.

Its best to use hydrogen peroxide every 4-5 days anyways irregardless of whether you have root rot or not. Prevention is by far the better option rather than having to deal with pythium.

Take Moon Ravers advice and freeze up a stack of bottles. Drop them one at a time in the nutes during lights on to get your temps down.

Then address the room temperature issue which must also be high in order for the res to be that high. Your room temperature needs to be no higher than 28c.

That may mean pulling air in and extracting it out. Pull air in from under the floor and with another fan, extract air out of the room into either another room or into the roof cavity. Also run your lights overnight rather than during the day, this can help keep temperatures down.

Both the room temperature and the root temperatures will be affecting your plants. Oxygen levels in water are almost non-existent at those temps so your plants will be suffocating.

Whats the lowest temperature my room and res can go befor the plants start struggling iv just brought a AC Unit ??

the reason i suspected root rot is taht the roots have started yellowing slightly ? instead of being a white colour ? am i right in thinking the roots should be white and not a milky yellow colour?

If you have any root problem in hydro, use beneficial microbes. It's like penicillin

shouldnt go below 16, but at 14 you can also do. below that they'll stop growing. at 0 they die.

Yes yellow roots are strangled and sick roots, this is because of low oxygen in the water probably. set your a/c to 18 or 19 and you will be good. 21 can also work.
